Leaked: Governments Manipulating Social Media & Other Online Information

The latest release of documents, provided by Edward Snowden via The Intercept, reveal how UK spy agencies are invading the privacy of social networks as well as other online forums. These tactics, ranging from the development of tools meant to gather Facebook photos set to “private” to manipulating the outcome of online polls, are aimed at swaying opinions of dissenting information towards government interests.

I intuited this years ago.

Why WOULDN'T the government being doing this?

We think MSM is manipulated, but the internet is off limits to alphabet agencies?

maybe a lot of countries and corporations and private groups and even shmoes in their basements have some of these hax0r tools or others like them, and have for years. everybody's using them, but the us takes the dive when snowden tipped the game to the casuals (that's us). lol
