Symbols of an Alien Sky

I thought I'd pop in and post these videos. I know there is an older thread on the topic from 2009 but thought a re-posting in the Ancient and Lost Civilization forum would be more appropriate considering the context in which the information is being presented. I thought it was thought provoking considering how those in ancient times relied so heavily on the stars/planets etc for guidance. I'm sure a few here have seen these video episodes available on YouTube. This is for those who have not yet have had the pleasure.

They run for more than an hour each.

I'm not convinced that some of the theories, conjecture and ideas presented are 100 % accurate but I do however believe there are many examples of ancient symbolism that have in fact come from what those in antiquity witnessed in the heavens. Remember, this is time where the heavens above were one of their main source of entertainment/speculation.

While viewing consider this.

How much of our supposed 'Modern World' perception still has its source foundation in either ancient symbolism or interpretation of such cosmic events?

Fun stuff !

Our Calendar system and Clock/Time Keeping is still being used today and it is based off of astronomical stuff.

These are just a couple that I can think of from the top of my head.

Watched the first video. Very good how he explains the symbols pertaining to how what the ancients may have seen in the sky during a particular rulers rein.

I am interested in the dorje symbol, it came up in my brass rubbings research/thread. The dorje is still used today in Tibetan Buddhism religious ceremonies.

DORJE: Indestructible, brilliance like a diamond, thunderbolt or lightening, thunderbolt of enlightenment, an abrupt or pivotal change in consciousness, the fixed solidness of the point of power around which all else turns, the hub of the world

To be able to see what our ancients saw in the sky with the naked eye would be amazing ! All of our modern light sources around the world drown out many wonderful sights we could be seeing right now. This is a dream on my bucket list...

Viewed the first one.

I dislike reviewing films due to the difficulty of doing so.

Graphically nice, it was too slow to get to its point, the film is a long series of generalizations, mis interpretations, and cherry picked data.

While a number of their mythical points are correct they used out of context quotes to foisted the idea that astronomers belief the 'sky was more active in ancient times',
All of which seems to moving the idea to the failed theory (or unproven) of EU.

They do not understand that people can and have made stuff up it doesn't require an actual event to promote the creation of a story.

Man is very imaginative!

Now to the second one

Well I scanned thru the second and third one as they seemed to be a tedious re-examinations of EU theory, which doesn't interest me.

I presume their point was to say that in the EU theory a massive ancient electrical display influenced ancient people and beat the crap out of Mars.

If anyone else makes it thru let me know if that was their point or they had another one.

Sure alright,

I could only make it throught the first 20 minutes or so of the first one.

I limped along for another 40 minutes while I practiced my juggling routine.

I stopped for two reasons. The first is because the narrator started going off about our ancient ancestors "obsession with the past", the way I see it, we are our ancient ancestors in modern descendant-suits; anyway, I get bugged when folks break off chunks of histroy like that as though they are discreet.

The other was this...

I don't know who's fired, the narrator or Professor Farnell, but someone's fired.

You know, I also watched the Focus on the Family Calvinist indoctrination videos called The Truth recently?

These are just as dangerous.



Aside from that, what I saw was really beautiful, I am just as susceptible as the next person to a really good blend of video, music and narration and these vids have that for sure.

If nothing else they are a goldmine of sci-fi idears.

This theory certainly explains the Costa Rican Spheres! Evidence of arking via the asteroid that struck Gulf of Mexico.

Also the "Sea's of Glass" some think point to an early 'Atomic' war.
