Now is this not what Russia did in Crimea, because that would be considered an invasion by the definition of invasion?
Russia has failed to give up its Navy base is Syria despite all the invasions going on there. I do not know what will happen with Crimea, the navy base there is also important for Russia.
As part of the agreements, Russia annually paid the Ukrainian government $526.5 million for the base, as well as writing off $97.75 million of Kiev’s debt for the right to use Ukrainian waters and radio frequencies, and to compensate for the Black Sea Fleet’s environmental impact. The Russian Navy was allowed to station up to 25,000 troops, 24 artillery systems, 132 armored vehicles and 22 military planes on the territory of Crimea in addition to the vessels.

If Russia loses Crimea they lose the black sea.
If Russia loses Crimea they lose the black sea. If the shoe was on the other foot, it is like Russia setting up a Navy base in Cuba to have NATO set up a navy base in Crimea.
in the Russian and Ukrainian media, was a treaty between Ukraine and Russia whereby the Russian lease on naval facilities in Crimea would be extended beyond 2017 by 25 years (to 2042) with an additional 5 year renewal option (to 2047) in exchange for a multiyear discounted contract to provide Ukraine with Russian natural gas.[6] The agreement, signed on 21 April 2010 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Dimitry Medvedev and ratified by the parliaments of the two countries on 27 April 2010, aroused much controversy in Ukraine. The treaty was a continuation of a treaty signed in 1997 between the two nations. Shortly after the (disputed) March 2014 accession of Crimea to the Russian Federation[7] Russia unilateral terminated the treaty on March 31, 2014.[8][9]
'Americans' shouting all this BS about Russia and never stopping and looking at how many countries we've invaded for, in REALITY, no real good reason other than buddies from Yale or Harvard profiting from it, the same 'buddies' running this country

I can see (and tell you) that there was an invasion of crimea several months ago by Russia which lead to annexation of the area into Russian control.
When did that take place??? By invasion you mean the democratic election they had in Crimea?

They seem to ignore the fact the US has not annexed any countries. I find it humorous they keep coming back to the US argument though. It means they have no counter argument so the only way to respond is to try and change the topic.
The US / EU / West did not invade Ukraine, Russia did.

The way the talking points were laid out verbatim, by poster after poster all from the same Russian sources, I would say it's safe to bet that they were not your normal "anti American" trolls..
