True and I do not want a Nazi in office more than you do, but its 74 years later we know who the Nazis are, we know what they stand for, and what their past leaders have done.

Also if a Nazi or Nazi-esque leader were to be elected somehow, I doubt he would last long in office. He would be assassinated, a Nazi has so many enemies in every walk of life it ain't funny.

Should there be such extreme partys like the American nazi party? Do they do anygood at all? Of course they don't!!! So why are they there?

Should freedom of speech be so lax on such a sensitve subject, i seriouly doubt it.

What are the chances of them getting into a position of power slim at best.

So should they be banned or not?

The answer is plain and simple no they do not. All they do is promote hate. I do not know about you, but I have been taught to love my neighbor.

But if you loved your neigherbor would you not allow him to say what he pleased no matter how stupid? The world is not mushy gushy nor will all of humanity be, believing that we all should love each other is wishful thinking, it will never happen. We cannot deny hate, it exists we must learn to live with it.

Of course I would allow him to state his position. I am no fool

That does not mean that we have to agree with each and every point. There is a middle where all can agree on, or do you disagree? That is one of the main problems we are now faced with. The terrorists insist we have to agree with them and refuse to even talk about it. Why is that? To me that means they want to force their way of life and religion on us. I do not want to force my religion nor my beliefs on anyone, do you? Please do not take any offense none was meant, this is a very touchey situation with me, I hope you understand?

There is nothing I like about Nazis. Thirty years ago, I was in Milwaukee for a few nights and one night I saw a bunch of guys lining the street, who from distance looked like Nazi Brown Shirts. When I finally got to that area, I was shocked to learn that that is exactly what they were. I walked along for awhile just looking at them in disbelief, but when I saw one who was wearing US military ribbons, specifically the Vietnamese Campaign Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, I just could not contain myself. I stopped, looked him straight in the eye and spit at his feet. He did not move.

First of all, I don't like socialists and second, I don't like groups that support oppression and especially extermination of classes of people. Whether or not such groups have a right to exist, I will leave up to the courts, but I will note that groups with similar ideals composed of non-whites tend not to arouse much widespread concern.

If you ban all nazi parties, then you have to ban all other hate groups. If you only ban white nationalists and no other, then you are being racists yourself. Its a grey area, just allow them to stay but watch them

If you were to ask me, I would have to say they should be banned. Why you ask? Because organizations such as the American Nazi Party or Al queida (sp?) for that matter only promote hatred and that is wrong to me as well as others.

Just curoius, which part of Milwaukee did you see this? I have lived in the general area for 65 years and not once have I witnessed a group that looked like Nazi's. Now if you were talking Skokee Il, that is another story.
