Now I see a man looking to our left - I can see his 2 eyes, nose, eyebrows, mouth, a goatee, even an ear.
Is that a tie he has on? He has his right arm on a rock / bush to steady himself while walking uphill, his left arm is carrying a bag of some sort.
I guess it can go either way, but I see a man with a hat on!

After examining the photograph I conclude the debunkers are wrong. It cannot depict an insurance salesman riding his bicycle, whilst wearing a blue anorak and carrying a briefcase. The way he rides the bike makes me think of a decorator of interior, though wearing a blue anorak can possibly point to a web content manager.

Perhaps the pic was taken by an alien interested in humans riding bikes wearing blue anoraks. Who knows!

Yes, that is what I see - but I also can see your version as well.
This photo can go either way, not clear enough.
I also see the bicycle front wheel between this man's legs, his left leg standing on the ground, his right leg up on the pedal, his right arm holding onto a bush / rock to steady himself. That would explain the short stature, him sitting on a bike. And holding a bag in his left hand.
Perhaps future technology will help make this photo clearer?
Fascinating photo anyway!! And I want to go to Ilkley Moor to see the exact location of the photo, and to take photos myself!

Thank You! I see that the actual photo location is south(?) of the White Wells Inn, at the intersection of Dale's Way and Dale's Way Link? So it is not too far into Ilkley Moor?

The “alien” in the picture is perhaps more defined in its outline…..then other pictures and picture enhancements I’ve seen so far.

Thank you to Baddmove, that was a trip trying to upload this photo!
Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that this is actually a photo of a dog facing the camera - I have circled the head, you can see his two front legs, and back legs, and the 'alien head' is actually blobs and blurs from the foliage behind, which is what has been throwing us all off for years:

I don’t see it as being the location given the current topography versus the topography and location of the creature in reference to the rock.

In the creature picture there are 3 rocks in close proximity to each other…..

In the current screenshot picture….only one rock is seen.

I understand that the growth of the shrubbery will change over the years……

The current screenshot from the vid…just doesn’t look like the right location, at least not at the angle of the camera…..imo.
