We failed on many fronts, because we tolerated it when everything was booming. We allowed corps do many things that should be illegal, because hey, we could always find a better job. I can't really share a lot of the blame, a lot of the damage was done before my time. But I do share some of the blame, I felt bad for illegals in construction, and chose not to report asshole companies that skirted the law, because I still made enough money when it was booming.

No, later than that. I lost my middle class status when I lost my 3/4 paid for house, in 1990's I was still in school. I graduated in 2001, shoulda graduated in 2000, but a year of school went down the drain, due to constant harassment and false suspensions from my school.

I'm rather frustrated with seeing that Ad.

I know a family of 4, husband is disabled, and wife works full time at a hospital. They bring in about $2500/mo.
half that is tied up in rent.

Husband's disability pays him only $1100 a month.. He used to make $60,000 a year.

So government pays him peanuts, but will pay $6,000 for a non-resident, who didn't pay into the system, didn't contribute to social security, fica, etc..

Absolutly disguesting... I'd rather see them take care of our people first..

It's like instead of buying grocieries for your family, you give it all away to a some stranger.

Please define what middle class status is to you, in this day and time...in this reality now?

Making money is the key words there.

Illegal working immigrants works harder for less because they WANT to stay. When you live in a country you expect preferential treatment, and dont start with the "everybody is equal" tripe. People are people. If you have been a taxing paying worker for years why should you lose that to anyone?

America for working class is utterly screwed for years while desperate immigrants are allowed to do what ever they want with practical impunity, this is obviously forgetting the illegal illegal works (drugs, prostitution scams etc). The most #ed up part, they have more rights and liberty than Americans do!!!! Its breathtaking.

This is going way off topic I think, I don't see your point. Middle class status is the same now, as it was forever. Put in 5-6 days work, 8-10 hours a day, and be able to pay rent/mortgage, food, clothes, utilities, and transportation; and have a few bucks left over to have some fun, and save for a rainy day. Not too much to ask right? What is the point you are trying to make?

The point I am trying to make is that, perhaps, you may not be watching the financial section of the news paper.

Well until this is verified not to be some sort of scam of which there are many I reserve the right to call shenanigans.

I am sure it is a real number and I am sure if you call it someone will answer.

Question is, will the person on the other end be anything like those damn people that call my house every week telling me windows contacted them because I have errors.

I really hate those guys. I have tried everything from wasting their time, telling them I use apple to cussing them out and still at least once a week they call with the same crappy line.

You have a valid point and usually I would side with your skepticism. However, as I already noted in this thread, there are way too many things that lead to this whole "humanitarian crisis" as being fabricated by our current POTUS.

The adds for escorts etc etc.........were the ads on the fbo.gov website posted in January fabricated as well?

I don't know but let me ask have you ever seen secret shopper adds in all manner of media?

Is this add on fbo.gov? To be honest I have never looked on fbo.gov so I have no idea what they post.

It takes a bit more than a picture of a newspaper add for me to believe it s real. I hope more information on this comes out.

Woah, maybe I am reading wrong, but I sense some anger tossed my way and don't understand why. Illegals do not, and never did work harder than me. On the contrary, they worked a lot less harder than me. Most times I was a 2 man crew, the most was 6 man crew, all legal, and all paid for(I had to pay workman's comp and liability insurance on all my workers). I had to compete with people that had 2 man crew on books, but had 6-12 man crew in reality, most were illegal. They were paid peanuts, but also lived on peanuts, packing themselves illegally 10 to an apt, or 30 to a house etc etc.

"give solutions to citizens before you extend invitations to non citizens" - oh wait, immigrants work cheaper, screw you tax paying citizens. move aside.

Middle class is next, its coming and you are all going to take a pay cut regardless of the MASSIVE lower class savings the corps are making.

Yes its that simple.

I apologize for my frank outburst, i call it like it is.

Yeah. The secret shopper thing. It's how the government communicates now, since they let the Snowden dude get away. Amazing huh.? The government ready to WASTE all that money on criminals, and they haven't even figured out, THEY CAN STOP IT any time they want. Anytime. It's Free press the way it is now, and it's very close to the election thing. Free sound bites. For politicians, like Barrack "Constit What?" Obama and John "inertia" Boehner Free publicity. Politicians are going to do ANYTHING about this, except LIE.

I get it! Anyone can spoof some BS by paying for something to put in a newspaper add!

However! Ben Swann is one of the few people I consider a real journalist.

WOW! I just searched for the link to the actual site and it has disappeared! However, here is a screenshot as to their add for escorts.

Ben Swann I like, he seems like a cool dude. One thing that irks me so much, everytime I seem to find a good libertarian type page, it gets overrun by rightwing religious nutjobs. So disheartening. Ben Swann, reason magazine and Dennis Micheal Lynch are my most recent disappointments. Not due to them, but their rightwinger fans drowning out everyone else. And also them I guess, not telling the rightwingers embarrassed by the republican's recent failures, and pretending to be libertarians to piss off. Also this is facebook pages I am talking about.

That's what THEY do!

Anything or anybody whom tries to be honest and tell the truth is bombarded with people whom IMO are "shilling" to either silence them or make the average drone "THINK" that to follow them and their beliefs/reporting is to be ignorant like those whom flood the comment boards!

Think about it!

I get it and I am not claiming to know if it is BS or not. I am skeptical by nature but once something has met my criteria for evidence then I will point to it as fact. Rarely have I been wrong when calling something fact because of that.

I am glad you showed the escort service thing I was thinking it was something entirely different. Government + escort service...err..well..I was thinking you were saying female escorts. I am pretty sure they do that as well and I had thought someone screwed up and placed an add.

I don't really pay attention to ll the shenanigans in congress anymore. They all suck as far as I am concerned.

Even though this is Ben Swann which does give it a bit of credibility I am still cautious. Ben Swann has printed retractions before where they got the story wrong. Trying to stay on the edge of news can have its pitfalls. I like that he does retract statements or stories when needed.

A side note: I got rid of cable going on two years now which means no 24 hr cable news for me as well. Before that I barely watched anyway but I notice immigration is always an issue close to elections but as soon as they are over so is the issue for another year and some months till talk of the next elections come up. I think the world would be a better place without cable it would definitely be better without cable news.
