Some people need to do research. Eventually some states will be like Holland with "coffee houses" for the boutique crowd with entertainment, films, etc. Everyday stoners will patronize the seed banks for top quality and anyone with a south facing window can enjoy the bounty. In time it will change to what the customer wants...like all business.

Yes but look at the type of customers you are talking about. These are who the state has gone into business for. Joe Blow is still going to get picked up trying to save some bread by buying elsewhere. This state approved market was designed to glean high tax off the upper 30% of MJ users. That's the upper 30% of users in the economic 30%.

But even that will slowly fade away until the Legal Market will all but remove the Illegal one. It will just take some time that's all. 30% tax isn't that much after all for the perks which come with it. Quality, Convenience, Safety, Better Selection, etc. For most people it's worth it. Only those with an already solid connection that always has what they need when they want it without hassle will still use the Black Market.

That in turn will make it harder for the Black Market to make a profit too which in turn will make them go elsewhere. Or open their own business and compete if possible. Everybody loves the Free Market right?!?!?

What nonsense. An "eighth" of the finest pot ever grown will cost ya about $30-35. Less if you buy by the ounce (about$150, or $18.75 per eighth). You might be able to get some "midi's" for less from Joe-the-Dealer, but so what? Why would anyone settle for crap quality smoke?

Now, sure, some folks are still hooking it up with their buddy, or their cousin, but the cops don't care, and frankly - it's just easier to get legally anyway.

Want to know what the cops do care about? Pot DUI / DWI.

The bottom line has always been and will continue to be, with regard to your personal stance on this issue; Do you value every human's right to peacefully pursue freedom? Freedom.
