staff opinions

hey - can we modify the " staff opionion caveats " ?????????/

yes - staff are members too

yes - staff have opinions on topics

but the " this is my opinion ONLY caveat " is getting on my nerves

staf posts SHOULD be their opinion - I want staff to speak their mind freely

when thiey don their " staff hat " - that's when their post should have " this is an admin action " warning

Don't you remember? Before they had the "this is my opinion ONLY caveat" members would complain, saying, "I can't believe a moderator said that"! and so on... so they added the caveat, reminding people that even though it's a moderator speaking, that it's only an opinion.

I don't have any problem with the caveat.

the not stating that it is the opinion of the poster, not the site, is no different than the warning that accompanies every editorial in every magazine, newspaper, and news outlet, because, sadly, not everyone can differentiate between a writer and the entity they are writing for.

I think you post just enough considering your busy schedule

I have no opinions sadly...

I think part of the message of the caveat is "You are not in trouble if you disagree with me on this".
Some people might need that re-assurance.
