Hurricane/Storm Amanda Question

So there's this hurricane in the pacific (by Mexico and California) that's been bugging me...

There's a hurricane called Hurricane Amanda that was spotted on May 29th I believe.

What's been ticking me off is the fact that it's still in the same spot/still there....

Am I being shown old maps? Or what? Someone clear this up for me please
