Replace 11 with the forum number (general chit chat is 11) and replace 1017442 with the thread ID you wish to reply to.

How do you know which forum number it is? or which tid, for that matter?

OK figured out fid, but still am looking for tid.

If you look at the URL of this page (in your address bar) you should see a part which says "thread1017442". The number is the thread ID. If you browse to one of the forums, for example the general chit chat forum, you'll see a part of the URL which says "forum/11/". So the forum number of general chit chat is 11.

I finally have a few minutes of down time to browse, and there is a kink in the system.

Ah the mobile version of the website does appear to be fully working. For those who know how, change your default user agent to make ATS think you're using an iPhone or something. It allows you to easily star and flag that way.

If you are using any modern browser, then this trick will work...

Go to the main forum page, and hover over one of the links to the forum (in the below, note the bold text).

www.abovetopsecret . com/ forum / 11 /pg1/srtpages

That's how you can find the ID of the forum...Not sure that the mods will want us adding posts while this is going down though (I mean, it looks like all of the postbacks/onclick methods were removed).

after applying Google's latest chrome update everything works fine.

I had to relaunch Chrome, but that was it.

Look at you!! I would have never thought of that.

I had to change my settings to mobile safari to be able to reply and star. Weirdness all the way around. Star for you since I can finally give one!

ETA - That I did manage to get your star in before the thread was moved.

Well it looks like everything is pretty much back to normal now so no need to use those tricks anymore.

I am back and I am using IE, it was kind of odd, no been able to post, but you could open a thread.

I think it was an attack.
