For Those Asking: Yes, ATS has crashed

As of about 30+ minutes ago.

Sorry to add yet another thread about this... but it's the only way to answer anyone else clicking around the site like crazy wondering what the hell has happened. The answer is: No, you are not alone.

Can't post (other than a new thread), can't reply, can't quote, can't star, can't flag, can't use the drop down menu, the neverending scroll at the bottom is not working, the arrow at the bottom right-hand corner to zip you back to the top of the page has disappeared, preview pop-up window isn't working... etc etc.

Server overload ?
Javascript crash ?
PHP crash ?
CGI crash ?
NSA attack ?


End of the world ??

Okay, I just noticed that someone else has been able to post in a thread without having to make a new thread. So maybe this is a browser problem ? Most people are using Firefox or Internet Explorer, and as someone else mentioned in an earlier thread, neither of those browsers are working for them on ATS...

I'm curious what browser someone else is using that's still able to post in a thread and not having any problems ?

whatever it was I think it's over now. the site works fine on my end. Samsung galaxy with dolphin browser, if that makes a difference.

after switching from my normal firefox to ucweb to ninesky finally broke down and downloaded opera which i hate with a passion .. the only one apparently working on android at moment is opera .. hope this problem gets sorted soon so i can go back to using firefox ..

Well, I'm on Firefox and am now able to post. So you should be able to ditch that Opera thing.

Not sure though if everything is working just yet.

Well is working now, I send various messages to people but nobody seemed to answer back, finally is working again.

disable then re enable jave plug in.

Seems firefox starting to work again .. now to go delete that bloody opera browser ..

I was going to recommend you trying GLP to get your fix but to beware....it's not as potent.
