Yes I did. There is nothing wrong with not being straight.

Jesus agrees.

Ever faithful with the insults, I see.

Your assumptions are wrong on a number of points.

However . . . I weary of the pretense at any hint of a dialogue.

I think Dennis Jernigan's experiences and testimony summarize many issues the best.

You are pinning all your hopes on the lies of one man, while millions upon millions of us will tell you he is making his story up in order to gain favour among the Christian community.

What was that line about not putting all your eggs in one basket again?

Look, here's a very accurate quote from your bible bashing mates about why exodus ministries failed

1. When a ministry or church or organization departs from its calling and purpose, it will no longer be backed by God. In the words of Jesus, “If the salt loses its saltiness ... it is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot” (Matt. 5:13, NIV).

Of course, the article goes on to say that they still believe that homosexual conversion is possible and they go for a feeding frenzy like sharks do on their own, blaming fellow Christians for their failings. A great example of a lesson not learned and the hyprocrisy that exists among fundamental Christians.

No Jesus does not agree, how do you figure that one ?

Matthew 19:5 FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH
That was Jesus talking. Notice he said a man shall be joined to his WIFE! Not gay partner.

Matthew 19:4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female
He did not say male and male or female and female.

Matthew 7:1

Don't tell me I'm missing quoting the bible when that is all you have done in this thread.

Jesus is not happy with those who spread hate. It is you who has been deceived by evil and now you are spreading hate against those you do not understand.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Jesus calls us to judge and just because you have been reading the hitchikers guide to defending homosexuality does not make you an authority on scripture. Matthew 7:1 is the most taken out of context verse ever. Here you go again
When a Christian lovingly and graciously presents the gospel to unbelievers, a judgment is made regarding their standing with God. The Bible clearly declares that all men are sinners, have fallen short of the glory of God, and are in need of redemption from their sins (Romans 3:23). This judgment is not made from the opinion of the Christian who is presenting the gospel but rather by what the Bible clearly declares. Jesus said that as Christians we are the salt of the Earth and what happens to salt when it loses it's flavor ? It is to be thrown to the ground and trampled under our feet.

This means nothing. The only reason people got married at that time was so the man could have sons as his heirs and to carry on the family business. There was simply no reason for two homosexuals to get married. Times have changed, and people get married because they want a committed relationship that may or may not involve having children.

Your second quote: Yes, it takes male sperm and female eggs to have babies. So what?

All the quotes I have read from Jesus prove that He would never fault two people for loving each other. Love your God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. He said those were the only things you really needed to do. If you do those two things, everything else is taken care of.

God has blessed my with a special sense of humor because this really made me laugh.

It's okay if for you to throw around bible verses but as soon as someone on the 'other' side references a bible quote, they are now taking it out of context, or misquoting the bible. This is not the first time I've had this discussion with a phoney Christian on a public forum.

I hope you can see the flaws in your argument and try to learn a little about the life of Jesus.

God Bless.

There are no flaws in my argument. You truly communicate like a child. I am versed in scripture and actually read the contexts and study the texts before I throw out verses. I know plenty of Jesus and have no problem rebutting anything the Godless heathens on here throw at me as I've shown

So homosexuals did not want committed relationships back then ? You are saying it was all just primal lust ? What made it change ? Tax breaks ? Insurance ?

Love your God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.

Right, Love your neighbor not make Love to your neighbor
You maam are seriously missing the boat.

Way to represent Jesus!

You truly give REAL Christians a bad reputation.

Nope I am representing Christians and spreading what the Bible says on God's stand on homosexuality.
I thought you PM me and said you were not going to respond to me any further. That did not last.

I didn't say homosexuals did not want committed relationships back then. I said there was no reason for them to get married back then. The concept of marriage is different now. Back then, marriage was ONLY for the purpose of having children and creating heirs. It's different now - some marry and have children, others marry and have no children.

No, I think YOU are seriously missing the boat. The boat of tolerance left you a long time ago.

Hell NO!!! It does not work that way. You dod not get to say your peace and then hang up so to speak. You will read my final thought. I do not hate you or anyone else. I am really not liking you right now. The evil just drips off of your perverted homosexual lips. The Bible calls you a false Prophet, a demon, a locust. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You are not a Christian.

How can you claim that you do not spread hate?

This just proves that sadly, there are people out there filled with hate who use (misuse) religion to hide behind and to help them feel better about themselves. It's sad because these type of people give religion a bad rap, and I think religion could be used to actually do good in the world, but it has been taken over by hateful people.

The entire PM exchange is a good read in my opinion. I am tempted to post it all on this thread but I think our friend has had enough attention.

We can only pray that he* will see the light.

Let that be a lesson to you. I told you do not PM me back.

I'm not sure what the ToS is on about sharing PMs on here. Go ahead report me to admin. I know there are rules against trolling.

I was just trying to save your soul.

All my original PM was to kindly ask you to read Matt 7:1 and not to judge those you do not understand. Very benign, all my PMs were.
