Custer's Last Stand

I heard from one of my friends, that a special on the History Channel presented a odd theory. After Custer's stand somone from either the indians or americans found Custer's body with odd markings, ect. I am skeptical, what are your thoughts?

And how does this relate to either Aliens or UFO's?

It doesn't. Some Native traditions assert that the mutilation of an oppenants body prevents any attacks from beyond the grave. It was a common pratice to mutilate the bodies of each sides fallen troops as a way of humiliating the fallen ones spirit any "maiming" that ones's spirit. No UFO stuff seen here.

actually from my experience it is the opposite. usually the hands and feet were cut off so that you did not meet an armed,deadly, and probably P.O.d enemy
in the afterlife.

none of the accounts that i have read, and i have read both the official accounts and accounts from the NA side, say anything about custer being mutilated. In fact as far as i know he wasnt even scalped. I have also seen mention that
he may not have been recognized as he had cut his hair short. not sure on that.
