And you my friend know fully well this isn't an isolated incident, I even gave you a link with many cases in courts now. I was asked for an example and when you get one it still isn't good enough. How many court cases would it take before you think there is an issue? 10 , 20, 30 50?

The War on Terror" (in my opinion) is a convenient money maker. But that doesn't take away from the fact that there are those who would wish to see the destruction of the west/America.

So let's be honest here.

If we aren't at war with a religion, then why the fighting? Why the animosity? Why the hate?

Is a religion at war with western values?

If his son had been held hostage at McDonalds for five years we would not expect the fathers first public words to be "praise Ronald". Let use not act as though his son was not supposedly held captive by Muslims for five years. How does the Father of a captive son suffer from Stockholm Syndrome? We are at war with a religion and culture that is a direct threat against EVERYTHING we as Americans believe in…. constitutional democracy, private property, free market capitalism, the right to bear arms, women's rights, individual liberty, free speech, etc. If ANYONE that calls themselves an American doesn't see how Islam and the average Muslim is a direct threat to the way of life we as Americans have come to love they are ignorant about freedom and liberty and should refrain from calling themselves Americans. Yes our government is corrupt. Yes we have a lot of problems in this country with corporations, tyranny etc. But you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. America was founded by men that envisioned a place on earth like no other the world has ever seen. That is something to hope for, and that is something to strive for despite all the adversity that exists nowadays. Americans don't give up without a fight. We can still save the Republic……and preventing Muslims and Islam and anyone else or anything else from destroying our western civilized country is a noble figtht!

And I'll add Mr. Bergdahl and his son are a disgrace to not only the men and women who wear the uniform but also to EVERY freedom and liberty loving American. Why not? The Qu'ran is the essence of Islam and should be followed by all Muslims and with that, why would a Muslim want to join the US army to fight against other Muslims? This is against Islam. Oh excuse me let me clarify things for you…….WESTERN CIVILIZATION is at war with Islam and Muslims. If you don't believe that you aren't paying attention. You need to look at the bigger picture. I don't agree that our foreign policy is just and right. We need some serious change in US foreign policy. But just maybe, JUST MAYBE our leaders are privy to information and threats the average American is not. Do people like you ever think about that? Maybe the world is much more evil than you think and just maybe it doesn't matter what we do as the United States people will hate us. Or worse maybe just maybe the lifestyle you have come to rely on is propped up by our foreign policy of death and destruction? Take to heart that last sentence because it affects us all. We are all part of this mass hyper consuming culture in the west. That I can agree with is probably what forms the bulk of our foreign policy. We are 1% of the population consuming 25% of the world's resources. So instead of siding with Islam and Muslims and bitching about our leaders and corrupt government maybe we as Americans and as individuals should try to change our way of life. Maybe we should stop consuming and say enough is enough. You know what? It will never happen because yes the average American loves the lifestyle our foreign policy provides us. No matter how many useless wars are waged and how many countries we topple, control, and otherwise destroy. Maybe Americans are very much parasites. But that does not mean our ideology and what we used to stand for is flawed. That doesn't mean Sharia Law and Islam is a better way of life than western civilization. Islam is a step back into the dark ages PERIOD! And if that means we have stomp it out throughout the rest of the world so be it. Because if we don't it will come home to destroy our way of life and everything we believe in taking the civilized world with it.
