At the age of 64, I had my first prostate cancer exam (yesterday, actually). It didn't hurt, but it wasn't something I wanted to experience.
He said it was a bit enlarged, and I mean my prostate, which was predictable given my age, but no problem.
Dudes, get it done. Many men die from prostate cancer.
You rock Sir, way to take your health seriously AND put it out there to encourage others. I can't imagine that was comfortable especially being your
first one and at your age of 64!
Congrats on your clean bill of health. You sound about your prostate exam like I do a Pap smear. You dread like the devil to get it done, but it is
ever so nice when all is clear. Always a big weight lifted that sometimes you weren't even aware you were carrying.
To many more healthy prostate exams for you in the future!

This whole....situation can be quite ...uncomfortable for us.
Not necessarily in the physical arena although it is but more in the mental area, especially for men.
The trick to a happy life is a lot of laughter.
Next time this happens, push into it and moan!
The doc will be so on edge you won't have to worry about the inspection again.
Also want to share with you, after years keeping regular preventive medication prescribed by doctor, I took a bold move and switched to natural
medicines, having good results so far. All OTC medicine and some little changes in the diet.
All men should do the test, the age to do it is the age when the family needs you more. Think about it.
