Is there an airport near the area, because it looks like landing lights on an airliner.

Peace.

There does seem to be a bright light however the lack of perspective doesn't help much. S&F and thanks

i google translated the text beneath the picture;

"This image is updated every minute, shows the northern flank of the volcano including the glacier. Intense cloudy or transmission problems can sometimes prevent the visibility of the volcano"

so presumably the camera is facing south?

It's an 'anomaly'.

(covers just about everything.)

My opinion is it's an airplane or helicopter but I'm not sure.

True but helicopters can hover.

Not saying it's a helicopter for sure but.....

No problem, for your future ref, you can use the upload button, then open the PIC, copy the bb code and just paste it into a post...

Star and Flag but would have liked to see you dig deeper.

Why? Popocatépetl interests me it has always had some strange phenomena surrounding it. I believe it creates plasma or ball lightning.

I have heard some theories about UFO's refueling but they seem less plausible then a natural phenomenon. Now to have that happen directly 1 year and 50 minutes apart is interesting.

But it also could just be a light on a the mountain...

I am waiting to see if there is any movement, hoping to screencap that for posterity if it occurs.

I am adding this as it seems clearer, although still a somewhat artifact like light.

You are not the first

I just had a thought, might they be using a laser range finder or meter aimed back to a receiver near the cam so as to detect any change in the volcano wall? Just a thought.
