I wanted to post a list of some of the cool things there are to do with your family here in SW Colorado--- but then I got to thinking why limit it to just my tiny part of the world.

So here's the new plan.
I'll go ahead and list some of the cool things I'm planning/hoping to do with my family this summer---
and I invite you all to post some of the cool things to do where you all live.

if nothing else it might give ya all an idea what to do with your own kids this summer?

First on my list of things to try comes from

Then of course Mesa Verde is only a ten minute drive from the new house and were going to spend a lot of time exploring that.

Now this years big trip and the one that has me giggly as a school boy is a ride on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad



Believe it or not I grew up in this part of the world and I've never been for a ride on the train. My excuse for doing it now is to take my daughters but I'm more excited about going than they are.

BTW we signed up for the Durango Blues Train ride...Yup they have 2 live bands playing blues and bluegrass while we ride through the mountains. we're on the Saturday train but if you miss this weekend their doing it again in August.

I will be lucky to get to Blackpool this year cos of work and money so here it is Sunny Blackpool lol.

Ya know, my daughter's have never seen the ocean--- or been to the UK.
I bet they would Love Blackpool

I'm sure they'll love your fish & chips... but there's going to be a lot of giggling going on when I try to explain about Bangers and Mash...

Bangers and Mash? what do Bangers mean in your parts? boobies? lol.

Oh and the Ocean at Blackpool lol....it has gotten a lot better but me Dad used to call the sea off Blackpool "The Brown sea" I was splashing about as a kid and a turd floated by lol.

I havent been to Mesa Verde since I was a kid! Amazing place. I have heard in recent years they dont let you in nearly as many of the nooks and kivas...

Hersheypark tickets are already paid for.
We were thinking about taking a train back to the Plains for my 20th High school reunion, but this morning I woke up to the girlfriend pulling the trigger on a week on a quiet little part of the Jersey Shore. So isolated you can have fires and dogs on the beach.
Two scout camps, one boy, one girl.
Fireworks and Fountains at Longwood Gardens
I forget the whole list!
And a whole lotta campfires in the yard.

Pmsl Blackpool.......Im speechless now. I come on here to see some great sights of the world...And im hit with BLACKPOOL..The place where i must have been 1000 times against my will!!!.......Having said that i will prob go again soon!! Yea the sea is a bit dodgy there. Even the fish avoid it...Hardcorps looks like your in for a great summer with that lot ...Looks great
