Have you ever seen a youtube video which is removed or age restricted, because of something real petty like a lady in a bra or something, you know just something real petty non explicit but there is still an age restriction ie you need to be over a certain age and signed in to watch, and sometimes the video is removed completly.

Well vice news who have millions of views on their videos, showed in their report of ukraine, a video of mutilated soldier bodies

SNIP

So how the HELL is death/ gore okay.. but bikinis not.
This is really what i hate about the world. Just as much as child porn sites are shut down, so should sites glorifying violence/ accidents etc
and dont try to excuse it by telling me if its about education and to show people what really goes on.
try justify looking at child porn saying its for education.

I`m just sick of all these newspapers showing dead bodies/ dead/ dying people now like its okay. In the main newspaper in the UK a few months back i remember seeing a photo of gassed? children in syria on the front page!

Even 5/10 years ago this kind of stuf would never be anywhere without a `warning graphic images ahead` sort of thing

Its like there is an agenda to normalise gore and violence

Kind of blow's my mind how you cannot see on-going wars & roadside accidents as educational.

Because it desensitizes people to the fact that all are human making it easier for the corrupt bastards to send them off to illegal/ immoral wars so they can make their bloodmoney ..

And according to the "good christians" who force their narrowminded views on everyone its immoral for people to admire the beauty of a womans body .. but its ok to murder others for profit because they dont believe the same primitive superstition ..

Personally would rather enjoy the view at a nude beach rather than see more of what have seen over 40+ years of putting people back together in warzones around the world ..

I live in a city of around 40,000. About 7 years ago a guy was shot point blank in the forehead, outside of a bar. Two days later a picture appeared on the front page of our local paper. It was a close up of the dead man's face, bullet hole and all. No one batted an eye.

You raise a good question

Violence/death (people / animals) and sexual abuse of any nature should be restricted and condemned . People who inflict pain/torture/kill/abuse others should be brought to justice.

Well maybe its because the dead don't stir up a fuss about an image unless its the family of the dead.

The first time I went to the US, some 20 years ago, I was surprised to see on tv that swears were removed, to protect young kids innocence, but yes, all the gore was left intact, because...

Sites that show gore should be shut down? Lets not stop there, hit the 1st Amendment to the constitution first! Your a feel good PC type. Stop letting your emotion get to you. Reality should never be censored. Maybe if people see enough bloodshed they will bond together from being sick of it and put an end to the injustices of this world.

I am pretty sure that a person accused of viewing child porn has never used the defense of: "It was educational". Bad analogy there chief.

The biggest reason/explanation for your topic is simple. Christian people of influence use that influence to hide as much skin as they possibly can. Something about how sexuality is a sin or some such nonsense. Displaying images of violence and gore is not opposed by this group because their hands are covered in blood and it does not bother them.

I don't think there is any agenda to normalize violence and gore. I believe the human race enjoys violence and gore far more than they would care to admit. Why do you think many of the most popular sports and movies are laden with violence? It's part of the human condition no matter how much people wish to deny it.

Seeing a woman's breasts may warp a young mind

Seeing someone decapitated though is surely not going to stick with them....

Show me where he said they should be shut down...

He implies there should be a warning.

What should be shut down is people taking someones words and twisting them around to say what you want them to say.

I'm a year into a personal boycott of all entertainment involving wars, law enforcement and gun glamor.

Your post has inspired me to see more bikinis and what's under them. thanks. Documenting the apocalypse doesn't have to be drudgery does it?

There are very specific rules on Youtube, and I have never noticed any censoring of what you describe. Maybe I already told it how old I was or something, and thus it doesn't ask me, but I have seen somewhat racy stuff on Youtube. And documentary or educational material is not censored in the same way as just a regular user-created video. So maybe what you say is true, but I am just saying I haven't noticed it.
