One big and beautiful Mind

Imagine your brain being fully energized, every one of those billions of cells humming in tune with a zillion zillion others. Imagine the potential, imagine your potential.

Think it can't happen? Think again.

Look at it this way: There is only one 'mind' that we all tap into. Each of us has the ability to 'own', as in manage, use, and create with the portion that each of us accesses.

We think we are separate entities each with our own minds yet it is obvious that we are like tiny hairs growing out of the dome of MIND (noun), miniscule roots feeding into a cell or two or three.

Fancy extending your mind roots to access deeper levels of MIND? I do. Why? Because I wish to aim for my full potential so that I can be of maximum use to my fellow creators. Together we could create eternal paradise if we put our minds, as in MIIND, to the task. When I look about this doesn't appear to be happening so its about time some of us kick start it. Well that's my take on it anyway. For now.

I'd say you nailed it. When you start perceiving causes for people's life tides, to a very deep spirital/mental/perceptual level, you begin to realize A LOT. Lol.

One possibility is that the brain functions as a transceiver. Each individual is born tuned into its own channel, which is a narrow band being broadcast by a more vast consciousness. This larger consciousness has chosen to become fragmented and descended into matter so that it can observe itself and grow. Call it God...it may have been lonely and decided to throw a party...an infinite schizophrenic.

Yes we deceive ourselves, but is it really all we do? And is it truly "we" who deceive "us."

We all live aboard the same boat and very few of us actually like the idea because there is always dissension and strife being created among us and of course nature itself rocks the boat every so often. Surely we can do better but first we have to appreciate that many minds are running contrary to each other and we wont actually get anywhere without first learning to harmonize together.

All well and fine if you can use your mind. That is something only the Buddhas can do. For everyone else, they don't use the mind, rather the mind uses them. If this is a false statement, then turn off the mental activity for 1 hour. The mind is a faculty just like one's limbs or eyes or speech etc. speech cannot operate on its own volition, neither can ones limbs make movement without intention and neither can the eyes look here and there without purpose. But the mind moves in repetitive wasteful activity 24/7 (barring deep sleep cycles.)

Become the master of the machine first, then it may be interesting to discuss how to enhance its operation.

The universal mind does seem like a wonderful concept, though it appears to me that some people are more connected to this mind than others. Much of the time, especially online, the people that appear to be most connected to this mind are the ones who appear to work for secret societies or government agencies.

The problem is that the concept of the universal mind was appropriated by the powers that govern the world, for their own uses. This "universal mind" was made possible by the use of thought reading technologies used on a mass scale. Like most things it has both positive and negative benefits. This "universal mind" can be used to "give" original ideas to scientists (like ideas regarding wormholes and photons), artists, and broadcasters around the world. This can serve to bring attention to and build up the reputation of otherwise unrecognized countries and peoples.

(Regarding scientists, you would think people at prestigious universities, with PhD's and perfect test scores wouldn't need to steal ideas, but they do!!)

This "universal mind" has both socialist and capitalist interpretations, it can be seen as a way to "redistribute" ideas, why should only a few be given credit for their creativity and originality. Redistribution of ideas can lead to generation of capital, if given to the right person. It can also be seen as a way for corporations or businesses to maximize profit, the people who develop the ideas may not be "marketable", also they may not be able to make the best use of the ideas. So, the corporations or whoever take the ideas and make, what they think, the most profitable use of them.

Unfortunately, this has the effect of discouraging innovation, creativity, and a good work ethic among both the people who originally, without help from this "universal mind", developed the ideas AND the people who receive the ideas. Why should I go through the effort and possible hard work of thinking up provably original ideas, if they are going to given to those who are politically connected?

Not to mention this "universal mind" can be abused by bankers, politicians, secret societies, military, etc.

Well your's is an interesting reply. I have a suspicion that mastery over one's mind and subsequent emergence into the ONE MIND has been practiced for millenium. I also suspect that all records and written material have been suppressed and on the most part destroyed and that the so-called Ancient Wisdoms that constitute much of our knowledge from the past is merely the tatters that was deemed reletively harmless and so allowed to remain in circulation. The real potent stuff was obliterated whereever it was found.

Let me tell you this... It works exactly like a lucid dream, because that is all this is. One mind, one dream, infinite dreamers.

The only thing that limits you is doubt. Your own uncertainty prevents you from fully connecting with all. Simply knowing of oneness is not enough. You must have no doubt about it.

While you dream, your thoughts are what manifests. Doubt prevents certain manifestations, and retains that which has already manifested. Once something has manifested, it too makes it harder for the dreamer to change it because it is believed to be unchangeable. That is why faith is so powerful, because it can manifest certainty even in the face of doubt. And it really does only take faith the size of a mustard seed to manifest great changes.

Upon seeing the word "faith" in this day and age, it makes most people cringe. Especially if they have obtained great intelligence. That is because faith itself can manifest uncertainty as well, and uncertainty manifests doubt, then what you doubted becomes manifest, then comes disappointment. In the end, a bad experience with faith causes you to correlate faith with doubt and disappointment, and prevents certain manifestations. That is common.

That is why you must have faith in faith.

And know this... we all share this dream together. One person is capable of manifesting greatness. But when people work together, there is the possibility of much more greatness to become manifest. That is why groups, clubs, secret societies, armies, etc. form. The combined efforts of many can more easily manifest than an individual can.

One man's faith can be overpowered by two men's doubt. However, only if the one's faith is less than the combined doubt of the two.

One thing that has great potential is the internet, mass media, television, etc. It can be a source of great manifestations because of the combined thoughts of all. It can also be a source of bad manifestations too.

When you have more faith than anyone else, moving mountains is easy. But know that you will never be able to compare to the one who is moving the celestial bodies.

All good stuff. One has to believe. No argument from me. Not a matter of having more faith than anyone else because you can achieve nothing of consequence on your own no matter the force of your convictions, you have to motivate others to share your faith. A lot of people hold negative views on that kind of things these days. You couldn't sway them from their fears even if you did move a mountain while they watched.

I must disagree.

Some of the worlds greatest accomplishments were done by a single person whom had more faith than everyone else that the task at hand could be accomplished.

Or should I say "miracles".

Would you like to give me a couple of names? Jesus changed the World but even he didn't do it on his own.First of all he motivated others to share his faith. Even so the Jews as a whole still rejected him. There are the great inventers but their ideas weren't worth a patch without other people to share them with. You might move a mountain on the strength of your own faith but its a waste of effort if no-one cares. How would it benefit you if noone else took any notice? There are plenty of individuals with ununshakeable faith living as non-entities, totally impotent because noone else cares.
