Funny how Osbourne's speech today was all about the conservatives giving us a referendum if they get back in......worried much Mr Osbourne?

The third lesson is about Europe. People feel cheated by the political classes. They were told they were joining an economic community and they ended up in a political union.

They were promised a say on further integration, and the integration took place without their consent.

The EU was supposed to make our country more prosperous, but the taxes and burdens it imposes risks pricing our continent out of the world economy.

So I understand why the public are sceptical of politicians bearing new promises.

It is our task over the next year to convince them that we will deliver. That the decisive In-Out referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU will happen.

David Cameron could not have been clearer. The Conservatives will not form a Government, he will not be the Prime Minister, unless that referendum is assured.

We’ve left ourselves no wriggle room. We need to convince the public of that.

We need them to understand that the only what that referendum on the EU will be achieved is with the Conservatives in Government. That it requires David Cameron and not Ed Miliband as Prime Minister.

If Green's were in power, the UK would be absolutely covered in Windturbines, and our energy bill still wouldn't come down! They would put Green taxes on Pop Tarts aswell.

It would be hellish imo.

Pathetic isn't it!

The Conservatives would be in such a better position right now had they listened to UKIP 4/3 years ago. Instead they go down the route of calling them Fruitcakes, Closet Homophobes and Racists. Bad idea Lads!

Well, obviously nobody wants the Greens 'In Power'. I want them in Europe to express the voice of myself and like minded people who believe in an immigrant friendly, multicultural and fair society.

The same can be said for UKIP, like The Greens, only a few people actually want UKIP as a Majority Government. Most people, from most walks of life, are voting UKIP because other parties haven't and won't deal with problems like Immigration(Not Immigrants!) and the EU(Not Europe!). With the 3 main parties not willing to deal with these issues, it has caused the UK not only to have its own immigration Policy, but an unfair one. Also, with the uncontrolled mass immigration that we have had, it has givin multiculturalism a bad name and also put a burden on public Infrastucture i.e Houseing lists, School places, NHS and crime, and inreturn making communities suffer.

It's high time something was done about it!

Ukip, what a joke honestly. The BBC and Daily Mail have successfully pulled the wool over many peoples eyes. Blaming all the wrong people, those worse off and living in poverty rather than the billionaire bankers, playboy politicians and corporations who don't pay their taxes. You can wave bye bye to the NHS now, that'll be thrown onto the compost heap just as Royal Mail has been. I'm sure everyone's Grandparents would be very proud of them voting for an autocratic fascist political party.

We're out of here come September so good luck with that.

The Daily Mail and BBC have attacked UKIP many times. Saying the BBC are somehow on UKIP's side is actually quite laughable.

Nope, just dealing with the issues the the establishment refuse to deal with. It's actually quite refreshing!

Yeah, from one Union to another. Good luck with that!

UKIP up 31% so far. Disgusting.

This is why you can't have nice things, England. Like Socialism. Looks like you might want to form your own Union with France, given their results are also going the same way.

The rise of Ukip in entirely down to championing by the biased BBC and David Simpleby's farcical Thursday night show 'Question Nigel Farage Time'. If you cannot see that then I can't help you.

This only makes us pro-indy more determined to succeed come September. Worlds apart.

Just as we had warned in the run-up to the European elections - and England's UKIP victory in local elections had suggested; Anti-European-Union parties are showing strongly in this weekend's elections. Anxiety is spreading among the status quo as Greece's anti-austerity party SYRIZA wins and perhaps even more worryingly in supposed core of the union France's Nationalist party is leading in a "political earthquake" success:

EUROPEAN GOVERNMENTS MUST RESPOND TO CITIZENS' ANGER: VALLS
FRANCE'S VALLS SAYS 'SITUATION IS GRAVE FOR FRANCE, EUROPE'
DRAGHI SAYS PEOPLE VOTING ACROSS EUROPE ARE CLEARLY DISENGAGED
Disengaged? - or totally pissed off with promises that never materialize and wealth that only trickles down to the uber-richest and uber-elitest.

www.zerohedge.com...

Looks like people power is protesting.........

I don't think the political party colour is that important......it's the message from the people that counts.
However, as far as France going far NF......they have always had a strong 'fascist' element. My grandad used to say (during the war) he'd sooner trust a German over a Frenchman....at least you knew where you stood (and stand today) with a German.
Not being argumentative, just 'reporting'

Scotland
-----------
1. SNP
2. Labour
3. Tory
4. UKIP

rUK
------
1. UKIP
2. Tory
3. Labour
0. SNP

Total opposites.

Certainly no surprise at all re. France, but it seems that England and half of Wales are steering their ship in the same direction. Very disappointing indeed. Thankfully there wasn't much damage done here tonight, if any at all. Ukip getting one MEP won't rock the boat, but you can bet your last shilling the BBC will blow it all out of proportion tomorrow, they have been the sole proponents of Ukip north of the border. An utterly contemptible corporation.

Nick Clegg looks like a broken man today!!!

Tears in his eyes!!!
Choking up!!!

But with a stiff upper lip!!!

He seems defiant not to resign, even saying he would if he thought it would help...
But he probably won't last a month in charge...
The Coalition was your downfall pal...
& Nigel Farage is the Vulture hovering above this dying Antelope!

UKIP got over 100,000 votes in Scotland plus a MEP. People in Scotland are now waking up to the SNP Con of Independence.

A Strong British DEMOCRACY is what the British people want. Not some EU Region, dictated by Un-elected politicians.

See, I interpret the UKIP win in Scotland being again, one of sending Salmond a message that they want nowt to do with Europe either....independence means exactly that.

As to Clegg....at the time he should have gone with Labour....but what do you expect these old Etonian boys club to do hey? Which led me to have an 'out of the box' moment earlier today......bear with me...it's good for a laugh if nothing else

I always liked Charles Kennedy. I was living up in Aberdeen when he started his political career. I remember thinking at the time...."Now he has every chance of being PM"......it was because of him I actually voted for the first (of the 2 times) in my life. What if....here's the 'box'....they could see when he became leader of the LibDems, that indeed he was potential PM material.....so they got rid and put an 'old boys network' (Cleggy) in instead. You kow what they say, a day is a long week in politics. It ties in with my theory of why Salmond was 'persuaded' to come out of retirement. They used his 'ego' thinking it would sink the Yes vote.

OK, mumblings and musings over.....as you were.

Not really no, we've always had a shady element. Thankfully it's a small minority, 10% of the electorate who could be arsed going out to vote.
