ATS Members: What's your job/vocation?

Hi all.

I've seen threads about photos of ATS members, joke pictures, and which ATS member has a crush on which other ATS member. I've done a search (and a thread may exist) but I didn't find one, so;

What is your job/vocation?

I myself work as a teacher. I've taught in a variety of areas, but at the moment I am working as an ESL teacher.


You?

Possibly some of you may have a classified/top secret job. Either you could lie, or you could simply say something like 'classified'

Maybe a thread in which 'one liners' will be allowed.

I could label myself as "self employed" but I like to say that I am a "domestic engineer".

Stay at home mom sounds a lot less important/interesting than domestic engineer.

Inventory manager for an oilfield service company.

Stagehand/roadie/all things live show production...also espn recently too so I guess I'm breaking into tv and movies now too.

As my handle suggests, I'm a code monkey. Most of my career has been spent as a backend developer and over the last year I've started doing a lot of frontend development and ui design. I see coding as an art and love what I do!

I have been ranch hand, built houses, have been in most positions in the restaurant business (save ownership). I have also worked various assembly lines, driven cab, lain asphalt, and shoveled dog # at a no kill shelter.

After a 10 year stint at voluntary homelessness, i am currently working as a housekeeper for room and board, doing part time property maintenance for spending cash, and beginning to start a career as a lapidarist.

Former video game developer, currently a student. Will probably end up back in games once I graduate, but I'd like to focus more on pure 3d animation, maybe for film or tv (which is why I went back to school). We'll see what happens I guess.

I was self employed in Spain (little cafe), then in NY (Family tapas restaurant), I just moved to Mexico and will look for work in Cancun as a server. Wish me luck. I hope I can open something up here eventually and stick around for a while. I like it here and I hear good things about the hospitality industry booming in Mexico lately.

I'm just another peon. My experience would be....

Inventory, Navigation (Taxi), Skip tracing, Canvassing, Projections (35 MM projectors), Grounds keeping, Stucco, Stand Manager, Kitchen Steward, Janitor, Security Officer (TSA), and my hobby is music composition. (EDM mostly in the DnB section.)

Currently? Pizza delivery driver.

I have been a part-time cashier since I was sixteen for a family owned business but that's only one day a week. I also just graduated with my bachelors and am currently looking for more full-time employment somewhere to start paying off loan debt until I get accepted into a master's level program that suits my interests. So... Very shortly, I may be a bartender, full-time cashier, or waitress. The American dream, right?

I started my own little home based business a couple of years ago. I make all natural skin care products. I just hired my first 2 part time employees this week.

I was retired before going crazy...I must be crazy to be doing what I do. But, I love it...

I'm up all night tonight making 6 loaves of peaches n' cream goat milk soap. This is what it looks like...on the left.

I test software. Put differently, I break things. Put more correctly, I find ways in which software does not work the way it is intended to, so that others can close the gap between expectation and reality. Then I happy-dance.
