According to Wikileaks Stratfor UFO files, among all the controversial documents leaked to the public in the last twenty years regarding state secrets and the UFO phenomena is the fantastic revelations of the CIA's unacknowledged MJ MAJESTIC TWELVE files disclosing the most guarded of all classified subjects-extraterrestrial life forms and their technologies.

Just posting so I can keep an eye on this.

I'm not commenting yet - I'll wait to make sure it's not just another hoax.

First question: What the bleep is Wikileaks Stratfor UFO files?

Stratfor is a privately owned Texas based company gathering intelligence information for the US government security agencies and US corporations. It is also known under the name of the “shadow CIA.”

It's new to me too.
I see the claim but I would like to see the actual files.

Privately owned but it works for the CIA? A bit contradictory...

Hm, smells as if Assange just invented a new boogeyman. It's been some time now that Assange didn't have get attention.

Is there a way to verify Assange's accusations, and by extension, the veracity of his documents?

Where can we view these actual files?
is this ufo blogger privvy to them?
Or is he/she running away with their imagination?
As usual with this sort of release, more questions than answers

Isn't it just an email of a couple of analysts mentioning "majestic 12" and that's it? I seem to remember something along those lines. But its no different than it being brought up in a conversation of two random people, neither does it lend weight to the veracity of MJ12.

I know what Wikileaks is. I know what Stratfor is. But what do those 2 things have to do with UFO's? (nothing!)

I can't get the link to work but at the bottom on the OP link is a link to it , Source : Wikileaks.

This part may be pertanant although I haven't read it all yet.

5. The term U.F.O. as defined by Air Force intelligence directives is
used here to reflect unconventional aircraft and missiles, not
interplanetary spacecraft

It's just a Rense article written by Timothy Cooper.

The MJ-12 documents have been studied to death and dismissed as hoaxes. The typefaces, formats and language have been shown to be inconsistent with genuine, official documents from the period they were purported to have been created in.

Ex-CIA employees ( Karl Pflock), the FBI and ufologists alike all dismissed the documents. Stan Friedman supports three of them iirc and dismisses the rest.

Whoever is responsible for the pages on wikileaks will need to provide some exacting rebuttals and new evidence to overturn the existing research. It's curious that anyone would even bother trying to flog that dead horse back to life.

Because the US has never outsourced intelligence to private contractors?

Timothy Cooper wrote the article in the email on the Wikileaks page. So I guess he'll be defending his own documents.
