Pentagon to Destroy $1B in Ammunition

As far as i know there is no large caliber navy guns that can fire army or marine artillery rounds.
All navy large guns are in inches and army and marine artillery rounds are metric. ie navy 3 inch, . 5 inch gun rounds, 8 inch gun rounds,
army, marine guns 90mm, 105mm, 120mm, 155mm.

And some of this ammo may be DU rounds that are being phased out of the military stockpiles

Must be nice to have so much money to waste on frivolous endeavors when you could use that money to actually feed people.
