I think Ventura has a genuine interest in the truth and to me that's all that matters. Who cares if other people on this forum know more about one conspiracy or another than he does (which someone mentioned)? If only more celebrities or public figures would step up and fight for honesty from the government.

If I could make money presenting and researching conspiracies I certainly would, so I personally can't hold that against the man and he even addressed that during his AMA.

Also it needs to be kept in mind that, at least with his television broadcasts, a good portion of his audience may be new/new-ish to realizing and understanding conspiracy theories... that, in addition to only having 30-60 minutes to present material, doesn't give him nearly as much room to dissect information the way we can here. Anyone who doesn't personally know Jesse can't know for certain what his level of understanding is regarding such topics.

The bottom line for me is that, as I said to begin with, he seems to have a genuine interest in exposing corruption.

It's bad enough we see corporate ads everywhere on this site, now we're getting tv show hosts.....Pretty soon we might have to endure 10 second commercial ads before we can reply to posts.

Absolutely!

We can learn from him but he has to understand that this site is most likely the biggest support network he will ever gain. Saying that, we need substance in order to give substance.

I agree that he is potentally a bright star in a Dark sky but to ask for more substance rather than just a blurb, trailer and link to his own site isn't too much to ask from him is it?

I think ATS have just given him a platform and are hoping that he boosts their rep and some of his fans come here, and, vice-versa in that some ATS "fans" who have never heard of him or thought he was just a wrestler/actor will actually read some of his stuff and go follow him and use his site etc..

These things are usually a deal about publicity and numbers rather than being about content and intelligent discussion.

I noticed that yesterday, quick little videos about his OTG show, and that's it. I honesty wouldn't mind seeing those threads if there was a recap and discussion where Jesse is involved, or the folks that help run his show.

It's all still new and I'm sure there's kinks to work out, I'm going to give it a little time and see how it goes.

Forum was best when members did there own intensive research, questioned the authority's and we all mucked in picking it apart or advancing and progressing the research, that why this forum is number 1 it was REAL

No gimmicks, nothing to sell, no motives, just collective collaborative, well presented well thought through investigative work and theory's where you got a proper answer back

Maybe some of these points have merit, but I don't think it's fair to speak of another human being in such a negative and judgmental way, although I admit this is a tame discussion by Internet standards. I'm not saying everyone judged him wrong, or anything like that, no one specific really just in general. I sense negative feelings and some resentment floating around. Yet we don't know the guy personally or much about him actually.

I think we should be willing to accept everyone for who they are despite their faults. Mr Ventura is a lucky person and we should be happy for him. He knows inside that his life wasn't perfect or anywhere near as cool as people may think simply because he had $$$ or fame. I bet he suffered as much as any of us, if not more.

So it's not right and it's not fair. We shouldn't have feelings like this toward anyone. I can understand why, I have feelings of jealousy and envy and dissatisfaction with members here every single day. But I have to cope with reality, I have to suck it up and move forward or I will be miserable.

I realize that I am not upset with anyone here because of them. But because of me! It's me I am upset with, not anyone else. This is the plain truth about all of us deep inside. The only reason I ever got mad at any of you was because I was already mad at how I failed myself.

Once you understand why you are upset with someone, you can resolve it. You don't have to change them at all if they are doing their own thing not harming anyone. In fact, why not join me in showing what life is all about and congratulating the man for his successes despite our feelings of resentment ? Aren't we here to grow and learn better??

With all the corporate advertising, entertainers selling something, and the censorship, it seems to me ATS has gone mainstream.

Wow. Less than a week and we have high-demands on a busy person who has a self-imposed disconnect from "the grid."

Is Jesse paying for the space or is ATS paying Jesse for his notoriety?

As has been previously said, there are no financial considerations for the collaboration with Jesse and Ora.TV. None. It's simply the very early beginning of an experiment in collaboration between two like-minded entities: AboveTopSecret.com and Jesse Ventura.

Are ATS members giving Jesse our work only to be used as his own?

Anything that comes from here and appears on one of his videos will give proper credit back to ATS.

It seems that one or the other is at play...at least to me. I sadly am starting to lose any respect I once held for Jesse as it seems (maybe only to me) that he is capitalizing on the Doom-Porn market and using ATS as a soap box.

My, you certainly are very fast to jump to significant conclusions with an absolute complete lack of information.

Jesse! Please bring it because you are in a position to and you've been given the platform of ATS.

As has been said previously, and often, he is not in a position to make regular visits to ATS, nor have we asked him to. He will, his assistants will, but in this very early beginning of an experiment in collaboration between us and him and his team, it's best that we see how we stand together before we walk and before we run.

Exactly, everyone. The OP's are new here, they are noobs, and they will learn how to post better as time goes by and they explore ATS more. I'd say to please treat them as any other new user, welcome them as most have, and nurture them along for awhile.

True Jess may not know all the esoteric facts and ideas from current conspiracy lore but he knows enough, imo.

I read his JFK assassination book and it’s a good book and he has the sense to have knowledgeable co-writers along with him to garner important facts.

Also you have to know Jesse is communicating with a newer batch of conspiracy buffs, as cosmic debris points out, so that information may be stale to the older conspiracy folks and fresh to newer minds to this info.

Jesse also demonstrates on his show that he doesn’t buy into any old theory, ask Dave Icke, who Alex Jones stabbed in the back on his show and had Jesse going after him.

Sure he sometimes is naïve but who isn’t at times.

Also, the fact that he is making money off some of this isn’t in itself disqualifying that he is sincere, since if he were only after money he would be in the mainstream, ala a character like Al Sharpton.

Sharpton is typical of how this works: Go years of working for the police agencies as a loyal stooge and then one day you get a show on CNN, MSNBC or Fox

This is not Jesse's history. He deals with the alternative media mostly.
