Did you even watch the video? He said it could hit next week or it could hit in 1,000 years.....There is no prediction here. It would be nice to hear a little on what you think about this though....Being that the video isn't what you said in the title, I am not sure what your stance would be now...?

Well, just to clarify after watching, he said, it could hit next week, or 5 years from now, so he is not saying anything other than we are at risk. I was however interested in the first part where they say that a new report says we get hit by bigger asteroids than was originally thought. That is something I would like to see the report on.

But he is not predicting, just saying that Jesus was predicting an asteroid hit because nothing else could cause what is listed in the bible.

Anyway there is nothing that size anyway near to Earth as yet, and the chances are better of seeing something that big sooner, and better than in 2001.

We can only hope it centers up right on Mr.Robertson"s place of dwelling. Or his church, either or.

I love doom porn with a definitive date on it. It makes is so much easier to mock and debunk. And of course, Pat Robertson is one of the 'classics' when it comes to doom porn.

Just wanted to add that I gave you a star and flag because I don't think there is any other way anyone would of been able to get me to watch a Pat Robertson video.

Let's keep it at next week. We haven't had any juicy doom porn lately. Just pretend it didn't say anything about a thousand years. Most of society ignores half of what is said, why can't we do that once in a while.

The most important thing, that is not mentioned by either the Bible thumper or the report is that since the space rock explosion over Chelyabinsk, the numbers are being revised as to just how much damage the smaller stuff can do.
Chelyabinsk was in the small category, and it was a surprise.. surprise being something that is in that report in regard to the number of space rocks that do hit Earth, and that were not known to be on their way. Put the two together, and its the small stuff that could cause chaos. The bigger stuff speaks for itself.

I agree, we don't have any real juicy doom po-rn on the table this week, nor next week.

Ugh. This guy. What a complete fake he is. When I was a Registered Nurse I had the displeasure of taking care of him on two separate occasions. He is, quite honestly, one of the meanest human beings I've ever met in my life. This whole Christian front that he puts on is merely a way to milk people out of their hard-earned money.

The man cares about nothing but himself. When I found out he was being readmitted and that he had asked for me to be his Nurse again, I wanted to leap from the top floor of the hospital.

Uhh, I was just repeating the title of the article, that's why I put it in quotes. And I wasn't attesting to the veracity of what PR said in the video either, of which he has none. And thirdly, that's why I called it "doom porn", instead of an actual prediction. These things are fun to put out there to see the various responses. This is about as valid as some of the outlandish theories about the missing Malaysian jetliner in the 400+ page thread from a month ago. So don't shoot the messenger. No other event has come to fruition from the Predictions thread either.
