Again I meant no disrespect for the OP, when I started it too and how in depth some of the questions were- it reminded me (while I was doing it too) of a thread a while back when someone was asking for a facial of members for a reading and someone mentioned something similar. I'm still following along because it's interesting to hear what others have to say. I've always enjoyed ATS because it sorts through a lot of the BS from the lamestream and has A LOT of differences of opinion and knowledge between a very diverse group of members. You're right though, I'm sure it wouldn't take much to complete files on all of us, unless they already do have one.

I'm an eco-communist. My dad was a microbiologist and activist in the 1960s and was killed in the West Indies when he and others opposed the implementation of a new central bank system in several Carribean island (Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados), islands which had been "granted independence from the British monarchy". He and other union workers argued that the "freedom" the islands were being granted were just another form of slavery, that these nations didn't actually control their central banks and were secretly being pulled into what is essentially late-capitalism, a global elaborate Ponzi scheme which necessitates poverty and debt. Almost everyone in his movement died mysteriously. To this date I'm sure he was poisoned.

The left/right dichotomy, as many realize, merely perpetuates capitalism. The left put in place "humane measures" which prevents the barbarism of the right from collapsing. Both blame one another, but are responsible for keeping the Ponzi system from collapsing.

The only way to break free of this is some form of extreme leftism (communism, steady state economies, eco-socialism, anarchist libertarianism etc). Go read Albert Einstein's anti-capitalist writings. Einstein, incidentally, was a communist, communism being an ideology of sharing (abolishing of money, and profit, banking etc) which the bankers and the elites will do everything to destroy, even going so far as backing Hitler and his murdering of the bolsheviks, Marxists, German revolutionaries and worker movements.

The quiz didn't work for me. I don't fall into predefined talking points and ended up adding my own stance for almost every question after I found the expanded "choose another" to still not accurately reflect anything. The quiz itself is biased to Republican/Democrat in the first two choices, most won't go into the submenus. Because I didn't fall into a predefined answer, it also means the test couldn't score my answers.

I didn't side with any party by more than 30%. Democrat was the highest at 26%, Socialist was the lowest at 13%.

I sided with no parties based on solutions, it was purely based on my voting of most/least important issues.

Democrats on immigration (seems odd as I'm on the more moderate Republican plan of secure the border, then grant amnesty) - 26%
Green on science (funny since I support nuclear but hate wind/solar) - 20%
Libertarians on domestic - 18%
Republican on nothing - 17%
Socialist on nothing - 13%

The only way to break free of this is some form of extreme leftism (communism, steady state economies, eco-socialism, anarchist libertarianism etc). I disagree.
Communism is a failure because humans are greedy and motivated by self interest.
Capitalism is a failure because it leads to inferior products and exploitative labor practices.
Socialism is a failure because it leads to an unsustainable culture of dependence through exponentially increasing expenditures with linear increasing revenues.

I came up with my solution, I've even posted it here before. Others should do the same, maybe one of us will hit on something good.

I don't really side with either, I'm conservative on economic issues and liberal on social issues.

I side with humanity, ideals like Republican and Democrat only serve to divide us further. Once you realize that the Rebloodicans and Democrips are two sides of the same coin, then we can make progress.

Couldn't really do the test as I was adding my own stance more often than not lmao... But yeah I guess anarchism isn't an option...

This is the way the ptb keep us in bondage, imo.
Separating people in these meaningless political parties.

People should vote issues not parties

All parties do is polarize and get people to vote their prejudices, fears, and pack mentality.

Im a social democrat, pretty much into Norway's advanced system of equality, in fact, unless you have really good substantive, (which means equalizing differing circumstances) equality, and have programs for women and children who are half the population, you don't even have a democracy. Dog eat dog, survival of the fittest young buck is not only the big snake down in the game of snakes and ladders, violates honor and responsibility, which is to children basically and decency, and win/wins for all, but also, lacks democratic principles that serve both female and male energies. You look after your own with dignity to be all grown up yourself. But on top of all of that, countries like that are not even democracies for the violate the energies and needs of half the race.

However all of this being said, I also believe very very strongly in freedoms and sovereign rights, and finding alternative solutions for abundance for all, equality and resources, homes for all, but not overburdening people with taxes, maybe taxing the big banks instead and some other methods.

There has to be a way to rise above our corrupt versions of politics, and their game of playing right and left and divisions, to wed both the energies of father and freedom, with the energies of mother and equality/compassion.

But if there are any errs going to happen, they better be on the side of love and children.

1 homeless person ruins the entire pie.

But seriously, why is anarchism NOT an option? I think all non votes should be counted as a vote for anarchism ie non of the above! I think it could, if nothing else, raise the standards! But of course it would never be an option as anarchism would get the majority! And we can't have democracy can we... Oh wait...

Or why can't we devise a way that allows all parties to co-exist at the same time? A freemarket of leadership! So it could go something like this...

All parties are "ruling" at all times, there is no 4 years and then a vote, voting would be fluid. You would vote with your feet. So say you like democrats, you can go sign up with them, you can pay your taxes to them and reap whatever "benefits" they provide you. If you are libertarian you go join them, etc...

Foreign policy could be a little tricky, but you could have a nationwide vote on that.

Now if you wanted anarchism you simply don't join any party! Pay NO taxes and reap no "benefits". All parties would be voluntary, allowing you to move between parties at a whim or just leave them all.

I mean this is just a thought, I'm sure it could be worked on! Why do we keep going round and round instead of evolving?

Laws could prove a little tricky too of course, so... as a baseline I think we can all agree on common law... No killing, stealing, fraudulence... Pretty much all you need...

Now if another party wants to impose their own laws on its own party members then go for it! Make up whatever stupid laws you feel like...

How could you get any fairer? Everyone would be happy! I guess you would need some identifier, so that police would know which party one belongs too... facial recognition... If your face is not on any party database you are anarchist and only common law applies to you...

Marvelous... So... Why the hell not?

EDIT: Actually thinking about it this would pretty much eliminate voter fraud for one, as you would be on the database... Maybe there could be a function that allows you to check your own face against the database to check nothing dodgey is going on etc.

I think it could work really well and I think I know what would happen eventually... lol

My choice here..

Anything over that doesn't get my choice...

Isn't politics all about telling people what to do, tough? What else is there even?

You can say, "stop doing that", but then what?

Not telling people what to do?

Just sitting there and not telling people what to do?

We are trapped here.

There shouldn't be a right and a left. Why does there have to be teams? All that does is turn it into a competition of who can win, rather than focusing on the real issues, like how to make the world a better place. Politics and politicians alike, for the most part, are a joke.

I am a little different on all this.

I have never actually had anyone tell me what "the left", "the right" means. The middle.. I have no idea.

As far as I know, the left is short for leftovers, and the right, means the correct? As in wrong or right?

I know I am wrong, but in every media outlet everywhere nobody has ever once explain what they are talking about with left or right. What does it even mean, and is your left what someone else considers their right? What is left and right and middle, anyone?

My results said 89% Republican party and 84% Libertarian party.

But those were for just a few issues. In reality, I don't identify with any political party.

"There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." - John Adams

and of course this farewell speech by George Washington in 1796... avalon.law.yale.edu...

In terms of ideology I would consider myself a centrist leaning libertarian with a Christian point-of-view.

Look up the Nolan chart. Here's a link to a website my political science professor gave us as a means to study... www.nolanchart.com...

Also, here's some quick notes that Dr. Domino, my Poli Sci professor, typed up for us.
