Who's to say that life can't have a clue?
The boo.
Who's to say that you can't research a fantasy?
The boo.
Read on...
Read on...
A discounted price for a discounted measure.
Save the measure!
An interesting book.
An old one.
Bound with leather.
And lather.
An intention for things meant now.
A realization of things cleared out.
Who's to say that you can't find a father?
A father to guide you...
To teach you your ways.
Old dates and old swings...
Rotting by the way.
In the daylight.
As a kid.
A pretense.
A path found many times.
And old apricots...
Lining the street.
One was Burbank.
But this was Mid-City.
A leaf with red trim.

I'm sorry for the too-rich symbolism. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I must have gone deep into my subconscious for this one. The key to getting it: don't look at it as something you have to understand, look at it as art.

I also like supporting the ATS writing community, especially those that lack the "writer" status.
