As I started catching up on this thread I noticed a lot of people griping how there used to be discussion on here and now its all about picking sides.

Well something tells me it has to do with this:

Which of course gives them carte blanche to be on sites like here attempting to stir public opinion. Worse yet, there budget to do so well exceeds there opposition. We aren't disagreeing with fellow citizens half the time, we are arguing with paid and trained propagandists.

doesn't it seem as if the whole issue is really about the inability of people to put themselves in the shoes of others?
how would you feel if ____________ (fill in the blank) happened to you or yours? the problem is a matter of human compassion. why should moms feel as if they have to go to such extremes? that's the real question here.

of course, and there's really no excuse for the guy suggesting it in the first place because it takes the real bravery many women would exhibit in such a situation and turns it into a political hot potato so that american women, particularly moms and wives, can be viewed as insane, when in reality, they would just be reacting as any wife/mother would who actually loves her family.

& how does anyone here know that it wasn't a Lady that put forth the proposition...
& how does anyone here know that the Men are cowards because of a strategy...
& how does anyone here know anything about the cause and process unless they've spent time with these Men & Women...
& how does anyone here know that the Women are not the Brains of the operation...
& how does anyone here know that if shots start raining on the Women of the frontline that the Men will not instantly trade shots back...

& how does anyone here not realise I don't need any of these answered because none of you know just like myself!!!

Simply because the Sheriff is not a spokesman for the Women on the Ranch!!!
When the Women come out and say "help they're forcing us to stand here", I'll look at this differently!!!

Thanks for ignorantly fobbing me off by calling his own words as media spin.

I listed to the audio clip of Ben Swann's show where the sheriff did admit to doing that. However, the women were willing participants, so don't leave that out of the story in an attempt to make these patriots out to be some bad guys. The BLM and whatever other feds that were there shouldn't have been in the first place. A military-style show of force like this over some cows? Really? I don't care if Bundy hasn't paid his "grazing fees", it doesn't warrant this kind of response.

Was the OP banned? I'm not really sure of how that works here. If so, that's concerning... s/he shared information that proved to be nearly correct and was attacked throughout this thread because of the source in the OP.

Folks, we find sources all over the place. Some sources are obscure, some are mainstream. Some sources are from organizations you personally agree with, while others might organizations that you do not. This, in itself, does not falsify a claim. Some sources have more trustworthiness than others, due to consistency and accuracy. One of the first things you want to in researching something, whether for science or otherwise, is find supporting information at other sources on a particular aspect. Accusing a particular source of distortion could have merit - bias against particular subjects is a good reason to distrust a source - but to dismiss a claim outright needs either a lack of supporting information or conflicting information.

Video evidence to validate the claim in the OP is found later in this very thread... so it seems that all of the naysayers were mistaken. While your opinions may differ on how bad or not bad the remarks were, they did happen - even if you may or may not dislike the source.

correct. and you have to ask yourself, why the flip did that guy say that? is he trying to characterize american women as victims of their own husbands and crazy to boot? while they are being shot by the actual government?
