Do you know about the ISS? It is very bright and Here is a link to see if it passed your way. Just put in info, time, date act and see if that was it.

Midnight seems a little late to see a satellite. Was it moving quickly? Was it directly above or closer to the horizon? Was it visible from horizon to horizon? How long did you see it for?
. You may have seen a plane making a turn but pointed in your general direction, which would block out the blinking lights.
There is a reason it looks like that, but I can't say much.
