But back to Reid, are you saying guilty until proven otherwise? Fine he may be dirty, but you can't link him to one thing because he's involved in another thing.

Here's a story about Harry...

Reid served as chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission from 1977 to 1981. When Jack Gordon, La Toya Jackson's future agent and husband, offered Reid a $12,000 bribe to approve new games for casinos, Reid brought in the FBI to tape Gordon's bribery attempt and arrest him. After FBI agents interrupted the transaction, as prearranged, Reid lost his temper and began choking Gordon, saying "You son of a bitch, you tried to bribe me!" Gordon was convicted in 1979 and sentenced to six months in prison. In 1981, Reid's wife found a bomb attached to the family station wagon; Reid suspected it was placed by Gordon.

If he is so concerned about his beloved Nevada, why hasn't he made one comment about what could have turned out to be a blood bath caused by his BLM buddy? I think the BLM was directed by Dirty Harry to force Bundy out but proving it will be impossible because he will just lie and cover it up, Obama has taught him well.

If China is so conscious about clean energy, why do they pollute their own country with basically no regulations? Give me a break, try supporting America, unless of course you are not a US citizen. Screw China.

Simply because "that deal is dead" was said by someone or reported by someone---means that particular deal.
If politics and money are involved (use of public lands for profti) you can bet there's another "deal" being discussed over fine food and fine alcohol somewhere this very evening. And if that deal in Nevada, I'd bet what I have in my wallet that Little Harry is involved, directly and indirectly.
I'm pretty sure there is some undeveloped private land out there that could be bought and utilized for a solar plant and provide jobs without hacking into the food supply.

A couple things:

1) Your link doesn't work.
2) Didn't this deal fall through last year?
3) The area planned for the power plant and the area that Mr. Bundy had his cattle grazing aren't even remotely close to each other.

According to your info. Pax, the Chinese are looking for land down around Laughlin, NV, which is much further south than the Bundy Ranch situation which is suppose to be outside of Mesquite, NV.

So what I'm getting from a few members here, is that senator Reid has no confirmed ties to the 'new' solar plant, but because of past dealings he must be guilty.

Basically he is being judged as guilty before innocence.

I'm sure these same people would be all up in arms if the government judged someone guilty before innocence.

Actually, it is you who is making the leap from innocence to guilt. I am saying follow the evidence, wash the laundry, and then lets see what good ole Harry has been up to. Yes, this is not a court of law and his past actions do make him suspect to a hard look at his dealings.

You know I understand peoplw want to make this about more and argument about if private cows can graze on public land for free but, that is all there is to it people. Trying come up Goverment plots with the Chinese sure makes it more exciting until you look at the fact thet project was stopped long before this while in the same state not anywhere near the ranch. Solar farms are best suited to desert locations, the complete opposite of where you would wants cows to graze. So let us just stop with all this crap trying to turn this into something it is not. The debate should be does this guy have some kind special rights that the rest of do not? Why does he get to break the law? And what action should Gov take to stop him?
