Really interesting interview with Sharyl Attkisson on what really went on at CBS. She talks about getting shut down when she was digging into Fast and Furious, Benghazi, and Obamacare. Just as she'd get information that would show the Obama administration in a negative light, she'd be shut down on the story by the network. This isn't surprising to most of us at ATS, of course. Her story is more confirmation of the media manipulations that we know are going on.

Four weeks ago, former CBS News Investigative Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson resigned from her position after 20 years at the network. It was reported at the time by POLITICO that liberal bias was a major factor in the submission of her resignation.

All speculation, but this is why I don't really put alot of stock in blaming a President from either party. It was common knowledge back in the 70s that the people who owned the news organizations were the people who really pulled the political strings, setting policy and steering opinion.

I am no fan of this administration, but I was no fan of any as far back as I can remember...but perhaps my standard of following the Golden Rule is a little naive in a world motivated by power and greed.

I dunno' about that. It sure sounds like first hand information from someone who lived through it.
She experienced being shut down by CBS when her investigations came up negative for the administration.
How is that 'speculation'? Isn't that a first hand account ....??

No what I believe has happened is problem>reaction>solution. I believe, once again all speculation, that when during the previous administration there was a really big push-back regarding regulations being to confining that by developing a new admin that over regulates and blowing it up in the media, that soon a solution admin will be "elected" that will de-regulate everything in response and the puppet masters can go on about their business unabated.

More on topic I do believe Sharyl Atkinson(sp) is telling the truth, I just wonder whether or not it's for the reason "they want us to believe."

Well, I guess what I mean to imply is I am speculating as to the "why" its Saturday morning, I was in the backyard smoking Chicken and drinking beer a tad later than I perhaps should of, I suspect my thoughts are not yet fully gestated.

She's telling the truth because .... She has integrity, or ... because she is angry with CBS, or ... because she's fishing for a job with FOX, or ... _________. But, however you slice it, it's the truth.

There's so much truth in that statement. The treatment of W and Obama reveal so much bias in our media and political slants that it's mind boggling. Politically Obama has been very close to Bush (and virtually the same in his first term) yet the treatment and reporting of the two presidents on everything from Hannity, to NPR, to Fox, to MSNBC has been wildly different.

None of them are honest.
