Ah hah! I KNEW you were a chick lol! I used to be a tomboy too lmao! Climbing trees, fishing etc, in dresses & lip gloss till my late Mom finally let me get my 1st pair of crabbie jeans at 14 lol! Darn I miss those! Can still fit them but they were so worn I had to make them into shorts lol!

I think you put it wonderfully Stormy. For me it brings me to my Grandfathers garage and his wonderfully stuffed garden sheds. He grew up with his aunts on a farm in Utah and when he moved out to Southern California he took with him those farmstead habits of what was important to keep. It drove my Grandmother crazy wondering why I would want to spend so much time out there but, I can relate to Doodle here, my Grandfather was the one who understood and appreciated my "tomboy" ways.
