Here is a simple, VERY simple example of why Obamacare sucks and you're a fool.

I own my own business. BEFORE Obama and his social jerkoffs FORCED my hand and I was FREE to choose, I paid $453.87 a month for the health insurance I wanted. Yeah, the one I chose and needed. AFTER Obamacare, the plan i had is no longer available (Insurance Company was FORCED to drop it) and the plans to choose from are literally RIDICULOUS. Either they don't come anywhere near what I used to have, OR they have so much extra crap added to them it doesn't suit me. Either way, my monthly payment now, on a plan as close as i could get to my old one, is $788.00 a month.

So I ask you oh wise Obama worshiper. Where is this AFFORDABLE CARE I was promised? Why did my cost almost double? Why couldn't I keep or get the same plan? Why must I pay over $300 more a month now????????????? Can you answer these questions for me or is your throat to sore from Obama having his way with you?

ETA: Why don't you lovers of this idiot compensate me for my $300 a month loss? I mean isn't that the Obama/Liberal way...give to those who ask for it? So I am asking you, Obama, or any liberal..please make sure to write me a $300 check every month so I don't have to sacrifice anymore then I already have for you jackwagons.

I think the presentation of this was great. I love satire.

I am beginning to personally hear from friends and families who benefited from ACA. I have not personally met anyone who has suffered a job or their own insurance because of it. I live in Washington State.

A idea that mostly colored people and minorities will get something from the government and their precious tax money.

These people are so brainwashed in racism that they will vote against their own interest, like the poor whites in rural areas of this country in places like West Virginia and the other southern states.

Before Obamacare people were complaining that they couldn't afford the cost of healthcare didn't matter if they were insured or not they just couldn't afford it.
Every year the insurance people would come into the shop that I worked at and there would be this long meeting between the bosses and them.. Then the bad news insurance would cost more for the bosses and for us. The insurance would deliver less and of course the deductable would be higher!
And we were lucky!! Our business could still come up with the funds to provide the benefit. Many companies had already dropped the benefit.
Then there's the gov't. While bush was in office we practically had a tax payer revolt in many states as they added tax after tax with the constant excuse that they had to fund medicaid! It wasn't till the housing bubble was nicely inflated that any relief was found. The gov'ts couldn't afford the healthcare either!

So we started out with a system that was unaffordable and along came obamacare with the promise to make it more affordable. Don't look at individual cases look at the whole. Regardless of where the costs were shifted to is our healthcare costs gone down or up?? I believe they gone up!
Thus obamacare is a failure!

But dear people, I want to show you what you are going to hear from the right for the next several months leading up to the midterm elections, which the more astute of you all will understand is the real reason for all the vitriol and rabid foaming at the mouth coming from our conservative friends:





Please keep in mind, conservatives have a closed information universe. Reality isn't let in, one pundit will come up with a sound byte, and from there it will spread like wildfire throughout the conservative closed information universe till it's in their minds fact.

This is why to this day, some still believe that Obama was born in Kenya. Because despite reality, the closed information universe that is conservative media won't accept anything other than what fits their narrative.

Remember, this is an election year, and conservatives idea of an election year campaign is trying desperately to convince these United States that being 37th on the W.H.O.'s list is where the United States should be. While at the same time spending more money on defense than the next top 10 COMBINED is downright patriotic.

But no, this health care law has to go according to conservatives. And throughout this midterm election year, the parrots of FOX News and Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are going to be telling you how the world is going to end because of the ACA.

But are they going to turn their rage towards the people that actually deserve it? The health insurance companies? Oh hell no! Why? Cause those are job creators. More importantly, thats a big lobby. For both sides of the aisle. That's a lot of campaign contributions that both sides reap the benefits of. And you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

So, keep this in mind over the next several months, this is what you are going to hear from the right. This is their entire campaign platform for 2014:

Obamacare is a complete failure

Obamacare is costing lives

Obamacare is costing jobs

That's it. That's going to be the entire narrative. You're not going to hear a word from conservatives about what they are going to do to make things better. Their entire campaign this season is going to be fear and anger based. Are you afraid enough yet? Are you angry enough yet? Keep an eye on conservatives this year with these themes.

Ok, we get it. You like the ACA because you finally have insurance. I've always had affordable insurance and the ACA has had a bad financial effect on me, so yes, I hate it. And I know of others in the same boat.

But I guess you are OK with dragging others down to the poverty level because after all, they're paying for your insurance. Should we swing by weekly and give you groceries as well? Hell, we'll even foot you a new cell phone. And the list goes on.

When will it be enough? After we are all poor and dead. Personal initiative and responsibility is a dying thing in this country, just because of all these soul sucking programs.

I'm all for giving people a hand up, but I can't say I'm a big fan of giving hand outs. That's just rewarding laziness.

So now we are hostage customers to those insurance companies. I wonder if I did a search just how many upper managers in those big insurance companies got nice pay raises and bonuses the past year or so!!

Even though the facts are out there that the ACA is a disaster and is gaining speed, the OP clearly ignores the facts and instead toes the party line like a good little soldier, spewing forth polling data that clearly goes against the majority of other major polling networks. Nothing the ACA forced insurance companies to drop any policies. They did this because they knew they could make more money by forcing people to buy new policies. The individual mandate was nothing more than a license to steal for the insurance companies. So instead of crying about Obama cry about the people who really used you like a ho and that is the insurance companies and the right wing Heritage Foundation that dreamed up the individual mandate.

You're right, we do get it, he / she is hooked, of-course he she doesn't understand that as he / she get's older or his or her family grows their insurance will GROW and OUT PACE their budget, in this job market with the current mindset of major companies and employer's, who's going to care about their Health Insurance Cost and how much they may need to make a comfortable living, they'll keep him or her at their current pay-scale or cut their hours.


Hopefully i'm wrong and they wouldn't be poverty sticky to pay for his/her precious obamacare.
But he / she will still believe.

I guess you have to have government insurance under the terrible government and weak economy Obama is losing over.

Too bad the numbers are funded and less than amillion of the seven million that signed up have actually paid their first payment.

I'd actually like to know where the numbers came from. All along we've been told they don't know the actual numbers. I'm equally sure that there are hundreds of thousands if not millions off illegals, who do not pay into the system, now covered by Uncle Sam at the expense of the American taxpayer. This was the purpose for this Obamination in the first place. Obama supporters are too blind to see this act was to relieve hospital corporations, corporate farming and others of the expense of insuring illegal immigrants. Now that cost is passed to us. It's just another reason for people to cross the border illegally. It's also another reason for people to no go out and do something for themselves. Now they can comfortably sit back and collect everything from Uncle Sam and not even have to worry about their health care. This guy is destroying this nation and not helping it.

There is a fishing term that is useful here.

It's called "setting the hook".

In other words, affordable healthcare, you can keep your doctor, families will save 2,500 a year, all were bait.

Once enough people bite on it, Obama will be "setting the hook" to a point where we'll be trapped and caught.

Then once he starts reeling us in, he'll introduce single-payer.

You couldn't be more wrong. My policy was cancelled because it didn't meet the stringent requirements of the ACA. It was dropped as a direct result of the law. Get your facts straight!
