i wonder why you never hear neocons bitch about the military. that's ALL socialist. Think about it, food, living space, gear, transportation, healthcare. All paid by taxpayers. Sounds like socialism.

I don't have to worry about the ACA. I have what they call "federal VIP benefits." Perks for working for the government.

So, basically, I don't care if it works or not. At least not unless it affects me in some way. Horribly selfish, but I've grown tired of this argument.

the military is a completely different animal....it operates the way it does for a number of reasons..

I wish we could separate you kids from getting a break on your insurance coverage. I really do. Your insurance company wouldn't let us, so yell at them over the complications and mandates that were forced on the ACA. Yell at the Heritage Foundation for dreaming the concept up in the first place and yell at Mitt Romney for prototyping it in MA.

Obama bent over backwards to your conservative leaders and did as much as possible to make them happy, but whatever, you kids all lost and to be honest, I love that you're still crybabying about it. I get 100% government run healthcare at the VA, and I love it. I prepaid all my premiums (two hitches) and no one's out to fleece me every time I have to get something looked at. You kids should be so lucky, but I respect your desire to get f*cked over by multi-billion dollar corporations. I just wish that you could get your wish and be dumped out from the ACA program. I'd love to watch you fight your insurance HMO for tests and treatment, and spend months trying to convince them that your cancer isn't a preexisting condition. Hell, I'd pay to watch that.

Comparing apples to oragnes IMO
Health insurance through the VA is not the same thing as the ACA... I think you know that as well
If people start signing up for obamacare then that is when they will get f*cked over, since that is all obamacare did is give more power and money to these multi billion dollar corps.
It just made it easier for them to continue to over charge 10 fold


People are still fighting with insurance over test and treatment with obamacare, it didn't change a thing but continue to give big pharm and insurance companies more power and a stronger grip on your nuts

Well, liberal vs. Conservative aside... Our family of 5 had a family doctor we trusted for more than 20 years. She announced her retirement 4 years ago citing the coming Federal red tape. I don't blame her given the changes and we have yet to find a comparable replacement GP.

I've been a CWA 3204 union member for 14 years. The best contract they could negotiate costs almost 3 times as our previous contact. Higher premium, higher deductible and higher Co pay. I suspect we'll all be dumped onto a public exchange next time.

It isn't working for me or a lot of other folks. It will be a major consideration in my votes this fall.

Just being close to President Obama when he signed ObamaCare into law, had an effect on the little chubby boy who was standing next to him. He is now a girl..and not a bad looking one at that.
