"Endangered tortoises" is merely the government cover story for confiscating land to turn it over to fracking companies for millions of dollars in energy leases.

The government doesn't have to confiscate the land. Why? Because they already own it.

That was good for a chuckle. A website with writing that stupid should stick to peddling pills.

There is actually a long string of events that show the government using deception and other methods to get people off land. You can't just kick people out, there has to be some form of acceptance.

This clown had no deed. He doesn't pay the AGU. He has no legal standing.

It is OK with me if the door hits him on the way out.

I use BLM property legally.

The issue here is not if the man is doing something illegal, its how the government is reacting with a show of force and violence, how they are spending tax payer money to round up the cattle, establishing a "First Amendment Zone",and, lets not forget what they really want the land for. I don't like free range cattle on public land because I hunt in the mountains and they disturb the wild animals as well as hunters, but, that's the way its been with ranchers before these places were even a state so I just deal with it out of for respect for the ranchers and their livelihood. I cant believe how some people think the way the government is handling this is correct??? THE GOVERNMENT IS OUT OF CONTROL....PERIOD!

How many years do you want to give this fool. It isn't like he hadn't been warned.

I don't hunt. However, I don't try to drive hunters off of public land. In fact, they ask me where I spotted pronghorn recently and I tell them exactly where I saw them. I've had a little trouble with dove hunters, but eventually got them to agree this is OUR land, not THEIR land. Sometimes the ranchers act up like I am on their land, but I have BLM maps with me. These locals think I'm stupid. Too bad for them I'm not.

This is a shared resource. Some clown that thinks he is above the law will be taken down one way or the other.

Note in the pecking order, it goes feds, state, then local. We fought the civil war over this. The Yankees won.

That wanker can complain that Sheriff Gillespie isn't doing his job, but the sheriff knows the law. Look at that fool in Arizona (Arpio) that has cost the county millions because he thinks he is above the feds.

The Sheriff, if he was doing his job, would be out there telling Bundy to get out. Gillespie would never do that, he is a politician.

If all that was really true, they wouldn't need to make up B.S. about saving the tortoises.

This came along just in time. I was beginning to think we'd get through the middle of April without some kind of government vs. citizens armed conflict. /sarcasm/ These kind of events always happen around the anniversary of the start of the shooting portion of the American Revolution. Waco, Oklahoma City, the Boston bombers...how many times does this have to happen before we see the pattern? Then sites like this one are flooded with newbies asking "Why haven't the American people revolted yet?" The Feds want those who would rise up to show themselves so they can put them down. We're not taking the bait. History will show you to be the terrorists, the criminals, the psychopaths with no regard for human life. Not us.

PS- I wonder if this guy will get droned. Are Obama's balls that big?

Let Holder take care of it. He could care less about legal or Constitutional. Today he played the race card regarding the confrontation with the Congressman this week.

Oh, I have no doubt that Holder will be the shot-caller, just like Reno was for Clinton. Obama wants to be able to keep his hands "clean." But it will still be Obama's legacy if this thing goes all Ruby Ridge on us.

I think that BHO's legacy is shot at this time. One more "At this time, what does it matter" cannot make it worse. Bunkerville is about 75 mi. from where I live.

I believe you have it all wrong. The pecking order is the Constitution, we the people, then the government. Until you realize that the federal government is out of control it is hopeless for us to continue as a viable free society nation. The fact is, the government has tried to run off this "wanker" (which is a british term?), not because of a tortoise (in which the BLM has killed thousands of), but because they want full control of the land as a government asset for generating income to corporate interests. They have tried to buy his personal land and he has refused, this is how they get revenge. He is the last rancher left out of 50, why is that? Did they all refuse to pay grazing fees?

And, what does Arpaio have to do with this other than he is trying to protect America from crap like this? Maybe you work for the fed's????

Unless Obama goes to visit his still living Chicago bath house buddies, to massage his balls, I doubt he wants yet another issue. Of course, a pathological liar may not care what people say or think of him? I'm sure there is not a "smidgen" of corruption involved here.

The government doesn't own anything, we the people do, we pay for it with tax money. They are only paid to make sure our constitutional rights are not violated and our nation is safe from foreign invasion. They are handling this entire situation like the Gestapo.

The chances of this escalating are growing, I fear.

We formerly were free until we let our government turn away from it. Now, we are a socialist country. A few Patriots still live here.

I recall watching a show about the mohave desert and people that lived there getting their property condemned and taken for silly little things. It seemed like a big land grab as it was happening to so many.

I'm not from anywhere near that area, but aren't these areas fairly close relatively?

Until the quest for true freedom dies in our American hearts, we will not simply roll over. Freedom will win, hopefully without bloodshed.

Not good. Afraid this will give the Feds too many excuses for too many future ranchers deaths, that could happen over this. That we probably will not see on any cameras.......
