Great stuff!

There are so many excellent drummers in "heavier" metal.

One of my favorites is Hannes Grossman, hes got some really nicely nuanced play. There are SO many incredible drummers though.

Not the best video, but, meh.

It's always a tough call picking a favorite but for me it's either the late great Randy Castillo ...Ozzy Osbourne

Or Mr hair and teeth the awesome Taylor Hawkins ... Foo Fighters , he most reminds me of the guy in my avatar....who reminds me of me a few year ago

Stewart Copeland is my favorite.

His cymbal fills are supernatural at times, I could listen to the dude drum forever.

OP if you could get the fact that Geddy Lee sounds like an old woman out of your head you would be awestruck what Neil Peart can and has accomplished on a set of drums.

Simply brilliant.

Tika Tika Tap - Tika Tika Tap - Tika Tika Tap - Badoom Badoom Boom - Tika Tika Tap - Tika Tika Tap ...

I do like the Beatles and feel that Ringo is good with his drums and personal style, but way too plain for me.

I grew up with Rush so I've always been used to and loved the banshee voice since I was a littly guy. So much passion and impression in his voice, I feel.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned him yet,

Haha They call him the banshee because of the early RUSH day's banshee like wales he would do. Hemespheres (the song) is a good example.
