You're talking about violations of UN resolutions and international law. If anyone, the United Nations should be doing something about it. Syria, Ukraine, Southern Africa, and North Korea aren't anywhere near the North Atlantic. So it's not really a matter for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as I see it.

Good point. Sorry, I should have said UN then or maybe just America.

I dont think you really should use america as the topic of the post, it would be even sillier. Why would america need to do something half the world away? Ah thats right spread democracy, like afghan and iraq?

Ok....but all the violators youre mentioning are in the areas of the Pacific, Mediteranean, Black, Arabian, China etc...seas and oceans basically.

So why again should the NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORG get involved when its not...frankly...in their encompassing areas???

Naww.. The West has systematically drawn down and disarmed. That's what I mean. It was being done in concert to and in cause/effect relation to the Russians for the most part, then we broke from that to keep on cutting at some point. (never money of course...not by enough to matter. Just actual usable things, which would matter in the real sense..)

The West has spent a couple decades in denial to history, in thinking we could impose warmer and fuzzier realities on a world that neither wants it nor would really know what to do with it if they had it. ...It's sure annoyed the world, as we've chosen to weaken ourselves. The exact things we don't want moving in opposite directions for trends, IMO. Hubris has been in thinking we could never see the rather sharp outcomes which have beaten others, all through history.

The reason they aren't doing anything is because NATO and the governments of North Korea, Russia, Syria, Iran and Israel are all secretly on the same side...well their top-most-ranking individuals anyway. It's just the people of Earth vs. the Elite, and that is all it ever has been, and that is all it ever will be.

I'm sorry...what? 50 Years ago America was starting it's hegemonic rise beginning with vietnam. I'm pretty certain Russia didn't help you with that one. So perhaps you meant to refer to WW2 which ended almost 70 years ago. Now, when it comes to WW2, America only participated in it for 4 years, Britain and Commonewealth countries had already been fighting the Nazis since September, 1939. Russia originally allied itself with the Nazis and the Axis powers, until German forces attacked the Soviets in 1941. As well as America, Britain and Commonwealth countries also fought the Japanese since 1942...erm, Russia meanwhile didn't fight the Japanese, it fought the German Army.

So tell the world again, who else were victors in WW2, and which countries helped America? Obviously, you haven't a clue on what you're trying to talk about.

Military might doesn't mean anything in the 21st century.

I bet if the Afghans occupied Ukraine in stead of Russia. NATO would have been all over their buts. American bombs would hav been flying left and right.

The thing is:: Military might is everything, that is why Russia can do what they are doing. The US can not declare war on Russia and than attack, unles they want to start a Nuclear war.

The US can do the same. They tried it With Syria but Russia steped up. So the US had to let go. Its not a weakness but tacktical smart unless you want ww3.

Syria is but a proxy between East and west backing Sunni & Shiite Muslims

Israel is just hated by Islam but supported by the west

Sure, it's sad when countries fight each other and innocent people get killed. But this is the way of the world as long as there have been countries to fight. And before that tribes fought against tribes. That's how the world does business. That's how regional conflicts are settled (or not).

I think it's a much better policy to generally stay out of other people's regional conflicts unless they directly threaten to expand into global conflict.

And if you live someplace where they're lobbing missiles at each other, do what you need to do to get out of there. But it's up to you as an individual. Not America.

The worlds safety put at risk hahahaha, the world safety was put at risk the minute nato started it's expansion eastward to the point were at the Ukraine red line now. The world's safety was put at risk the minute US started putting bases in other countries.

Sure the US has used it to there advantage one or two times... But the world would be worst of if everybody build big wall and ignored wrong doing to each other
