does anyone have information on Krim Rosu?

i watched the man from earth last night and then read the trivia on imdb as i always do. it said the story is loosely based off the romanian legend of krim rosu so i started searching. i have only been able to find one page that mentions him and it is in reference to the movie.
when i search romanian legends all that really comes up is dracula.
if anyone has anything on this i would appreciate it.

i cant believe i cant find anything about this story. ive been looking for books on romanian lore and i cant find anything.
it might go by the story of 'the eternal man'

I've never heard that particular name either and had little luck searching as well. There may be a typo and/or something lost in translation. I did find this though, you may find something there, who knows.

thanks for getting back. its not a typo. its Krim Rosü 'with the oomlats (SP) or krim red in english. the only other title i found is 'the eternal man'.
thats all i can find save for 1 page and they call him krim jacob.
this is the 1st time i have found zero info in anything,

im sure it's in a romanian book somewhere but i wont be able to read it. i might search it on the romanian wiki and run it through google translate.
it was the favorite story of the guy that did the movie the man from earth so it exists somewhere

That's the best I can figure anyways, the logic as follows:

Krim = Crimea = Tauris = Taurus = Bull

Rosü = Rosa/Rose = Red

If it's connected to the story of an immortal, maybe that's why it gives you wings?
