Did I miss something? Did someone strike her? Sounds like she was lambasted and harassed for doing what she claimed she wasn't....i.e. recording strangers at the bar.

The problem is you can't tell if they are recording or not since there's no "record light" that comes on like some video cameras have. Maybe it would be less offensive if it had such a record light, so you could actually tell if you were being recorded or not.

OK so you dont condone violence, however you do think that a person who tapes in a public place "should ask permission first"..i think not.

Its clear from the news story that the three "poor innocents who were protecting their privacy" were actually three theives who attacked an drobbed a person using the glasses as an excuse.
This was a robbery with violence..case closed.
