Maybe even a Lo jack description for those not familiar although I get your point that is what the Black Box is for.

They Lo-Jack anything now adays, if it's airplane, back-hoe, or a laptop.

I should lo-jack my wife, you never know when you may have a missing hoe, not back-hoe though, a front-hoe.

They do, it's the Black Box but it has a major flaw, you can turn it off from the cockpit. The idea for this is due if there was a malfunction within the system that would activate the system it could be shutdown. Of course it also meant it could be turned off at anytime. I would suspect that this will change in the near future or a fail safe that kicks in if the cockpit switch is deactivated during flight.
