Great point...I'm still on the marketing/promotion side of the fence myself. I am rather curious to see what becomes of the website after the clock strikes zero...if I am not left behind that is.

It's almost painful seeing that many people can't see that this is obviously a gimmick to be revealed soon, and clearly based on this discussion it is an effective marketing tactic. When the SHTF there will be no pseudo-mysterious clandestine website with a countdown - give me a break.

With everything that has been going on for the past 15 years I can't believe THIS is what could have motivated people to finally prepare for a catastrophe. Anything can happen at any time. Ask Katrina survivors, recent Chinese mall shoppers, folks in Indonesia, etc who got pounded by the last tsunami... don't ever trust the gov't to protect the ones you love and don't get caught without your head on a swivel. Stop watching that ridiculous clock and take a look out your front door.

If this IS a viral marketing thing I give them kudos for purposely make it look screwed up enough to make it look real. I say that because there are hundreds of places you could copy this stuff in english from, but it's obvious this person copied code from a Romanian, Ukranian, or other-language site. The code comments are in broken english. The România, Pitesti thing makes me think that it's not actually meant to point there, they just put it in as a placeholder for what they plan to put there. But because that is the default location of the code they copied it is probably from a Romanian site, and thus written in Romanian.

The Google Analytics domain pointer - creative-ispiration.com - is for an italian web design site. So I am guessing this is the firm or designer. That or it is again copied code with filler info from a non-english site.

So either a sloppily done site by a non-english-speaking coder. Or a marketing ploy. Let us ruminate on these ideas.

Perhaps the writer of the coded message doesn't want everyone to get the message. Maybe sending it to those he thinks are prepared to act on it, and leaving the rest in the dark.

I'm guessing movie marketing promotion...poorly done at that. The fact that it's affiliated with FB, leads me to believe the FB pg will be launched with movie launch.

With all the recent Earthquakes along the ring of fire and the fact L.A. is portrayed as being destroyed leads me to say a disaster might be coming. Now you would say well an earthquake that large on the west coast would not hurt the people on the east coast.... but..... Yellowstone might be hurt by this earthquake. It might be large enough to awaken the beast and the so called smoke of the city is the smoke of the volcano covering the whole country.

Now lets examine the so called messages. He wants us to be prepared because some will be left behind. FEMA camps are set up all over and offer limited help. Chaos might break out when electricity is cut and the planet begins to cool. People who usually heat there houses with wood pellets are unable to buy them because the USA is having a random shortage which does not make sense either.

The movie you ask now? Well I've never even heard of the production or advertising of this movie until this clock had been brought up. Coincidence I think not. Propaganda I see. Forget the clock and see the movie is all I hear.

After reading all the comments on this thread I'm displeased with other members of ATS. As you read the comments it just looks like other readers read the comment and comment saying the same thing over and over again as if they found the information themselves...... new information comes out and you just see another comment that says they agree or found the same information and it makes reading the comments very annoying.

Have some fun... this is a conspiracy website.... Doom porn or not stop just following the god damn leader of comments who does the work.

Those are just Domain Name Servers, they mean nothing. They are just computers that translate names (www.whatever.com) into IP Addresses (185.56.21.2)

DAVE and PAM are just the names of the computeres. Each company name their servers as they want: persons, places, greek gods, numbers, nicknames, etc. NS stands for Name Server. Cloudflare is just a company that owns those computers.

It looks like it may possibly be connected to a well known spammer being sued by the FTC. Not sure but it may be they are collecting ISP of people hitting the site?

The links actually led to sites full of ads, and presumably were providing the company with ad and/or affiliate revenue. The FTC also says the emails were in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act because they provided no way for recipients to opt out of receiving further messages and contained an invalid address for the sender.

Guys, I don't know about that countdown, but last year on the day of May 21 2013, I dreamed of something important, and then was shown the numbers "110" and then "50". I remembered that dream because I wrote it down on my notebook placed on my bedside table immediately after I woke up from that dream. Now I then made a research, and it seems that 110 days after ISON's perihelion last year on 29th November 2013, would be..... 19th March 2014!!!

The "50" could mean.... within 50 hours counting from March 19 2014 0:00 GMT?? Can you guys help me decipher it? ISON could be a comet sent here by ETs to warn us of something occurring on Earth 110 days after the day they chose ISON to make perihelion of the Sun counting from our Earth time. Please help me provide me other opinions on what those numbers could mean.
