Perhaps a wealthy Lord or Barron was tired of his mistresses cat, and asked the armor maker to come up with a, "splendid way to deal with that pesky feline"...

I could see it now...

"Your majesty, have your born witness to my fluffy furball?"

What a catastrophe.

Someone at the Guardian got paid more than I earn in a week for writing that. Depressing.

And today, people wondered why a family was afraid that their 22 lbs. cats went ballistic...
Even the dog was reported to be afraid.

Actually, the US almost tried something similar in WWII against Japan using bats.

They went with nukes instead.

The Russians did that with dogs. Trained them to run at tanks and then they would blow them up. Didn't always work out so well because the dogs would get scared and come running back. Poor dogs. I love dogs.

Especially golden retrievers. My Tucker is a golden retriever.
