Anchor for Russian TV says she's quitting in protest of Putin coverage

An American journalist said she was quitting a Russian-backed TV station in an on-air protest Wednesday, telling viewers "I cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government, that whitewashes the actions of [President Vladimir] Putin."

Liz Wahl, an anchor for the English-language network RT, made her announcement after criticism that RT, also known as Russia Today, had taken a sympathetic stance on the Russian intervention in Ukraine's Crimean peninsula.

A day earlier, RT journalist Abby Martin made on-air remarks critical of the Russian government's actions in Crimea, telling viewers, "What Russia did was wrong."

I can relate that's why i don't what CNN, and MSNBC,NBC,CBS,ABC, and Jimmy Fallon.

I don't want to watch any network who 'white washes' their leaders actions.

and moral high ground in this matter.
We all know that this was not an easy decision for her,
as well as the jeopardy she has placed on her career and
personal being.

In a way, its nice to see her take a stand. Wish more US journalists would do the same thing but then we wouldnt have any mainstream news... (thats not a bad thing).

On the other hand, what a mental patient.

She does realize that the country which shes so proud of, the United States, is Russia x 100.

I mean Jesus Christmas lady. Her self-righteous, misguided BS is staggering.

Get a clue.

I agree Neo, It happens here in "The West" daily.
In general, ALL worldwide MSN appears to be Infiltrated.
