About 2-3 weeks ago. I watched Zaphod go round and round with a member about why his post was placed in the hoax section. I can't remember the content..but it came down to the fact that what was posted coming from a before its news kind of site..
Zaphod was patient..tothetenth even jumped in..I felt bad cause I could see both of them face palming and reaching for the rolaids.

About 5 years ago i was banned from yahoo answers for something i could have posted to ATS and it would never have been any problem.
It was about someone view that all guns should be banned.
I no longer had anything to do with yahoo answers and have never posted since because the answer was a opinion and legal under the gun laws in the US.

About a week ago i got a notice from yahoo answers that another of my posts was under investigation and if found to be a violation of there TOC i would be banned.

This post has been on there site for at least 5 years and NOW they have a complaint and going to ban me.


The worst thing is they did not post the answer i gave and i have no idea what i posted or the question i supplied a answer for or what context.

I just sent them a email that i had been banned years ago and had not posted to there site in years and did they not have better things to do then go through posting from years ago just to ban people.

At the very least the moderators and administrators of this forum act in a very professional manner and ban for good reason vs. "just because". I have seen posts by moderators over at another conspiracy forum where posters and moderators/adminstrators openly & regularly use four letter words, and mock and insult forum posters. Out of curiousity I periodically have vistited that other forum, usually coming from this site, or exiting that site to this one.
I guess they didn't like that as I was banned from even VIEWING their website.
Anytime one of our forum members here feels like he or she is not getting a fair shake I think that member should check out other sites for comparison. In my opinion, abovetopsecret.com has no competition.

Well if i remember I have been banned for a few days once. Its not so bad and it can be a learning experience. I stopped doing what i was doing and have been a better member for it. I appreciate all the hard work Skeptic overlord and the rest of the owners and moderators do here.

How many People actually READ the Terms & Conditions????? = NO ONE.

I was banned in 2012 because I posted info on a personal matter that was AGAINST the terms and conditions.

I did not know that I infringed the t & c's ... simple.

so my best advice to anyone joining/posting IS to read the terms and conditions.. and not just click 'yes' you agree to it.

and the face that jumps out at you when you are banned is damn ugly and scary... avoid that at all costs. lol
(I logged in and a damn ugly scary face jumped out at me cos I did not know I had infringed the t & c's.)

I still talk to my Shrink about the experience. LOL

You make me whant to get bannef now just to see it :p
