Thats not my point im not trying to get people to see.

I ment to make the post about my observatons about the lack of depth in average people. It came out wrong though.

I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Their deepness may be different than your deepness.

Most the time, I know the frustration, but being frustrated was making me grouchy and I decided, it is what it is, and stepped back and just listened and watched.

Even here on the forum I prefer to read the comments.

I've brought up a few topics when the "news" was on in the break room at work. Things like Fukushima, the issues with how law enforcement are treating innocent people, things like that. More than two people had NO IDEA what I was talking about when I brought up Fukushima and these are mostly all college educated people!

IMHO, people are just TOTALLY oblivious to what is going on around them, period. Maybe it is because they are completely self absorbed, tuned into their phones, or just dense.

I totally get what you are putting down, OP. It seems that people in general just don't know how to carry on a conversation that doesn't revolve around The Bachelor, the Kardashians, or some other nonsense like that. Sad times, indeed.
