Star Bug?

When I give a star to a post, and then refresh the page, I am able to give it another star. I assume this could go on forever and is subject to abuse.

just one star sticks, you can try to give 2 stars to a comment and refresh but it will give just 1

No if you go back you'll see your second star didn't "take" . It disappears.

I don't think the second one counts. You can star it, but when the page is refreshed the count doesn't go up. I sometimes star something I think I may have starred before but am not totally sure, and those don't count when refreshed.

ahh yes...dark and devious moderator humor. for weeks now I have been clicking on stars, my index finger is fat and swollen from my perceived cleverness. I have been hoisted upon my own petard, by this diabolical Schadenfreude done to us lowly members. the plan hatched for someone's quietly smirking, gleeful enjoyment, while surrounded by snacks, in a darkened room with the soft glow of computer screen, outlining the grizzled smile of an ATS veteran

Well I can't speak for the rest of the reprobates on staff (because I have no idea) but for me, if anything a cup of coffee or maybe a ginger ale. I'm fun like that.
