St David is the patron saint of Wales, in much the same way as St Patrick (Ireland), St Andrew (Scotland) and St. George (England)

Saint David (Welsh: Dewi Sant) was born towards the end of the 5th century. He was a scion of the royal house of Ceredigion, and founded a Celtic monastic community at Glyn Rhosyn (The Vale of Roses) on the western headland of Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro), at the spot where St David's Cathedral stands today. David's fame as a teacher and ascetic spread throughout the Celtic world. His foundation at Glyn Rhosin became an important Christian shrine, and the most important centre in Wales. The date of Saint David's death is recorded as 1 March, but the year is uncertain – possibly 588. As his tearful monks prepared for his death Saint David uttered these words: "Brothers be ye constant. The yoke which with single mind ye have taken, bear ye to the end; and whatsoever ye have seen with me and heard, keep and fulfil."

I bought 5 cases of beer yesterday.
The Budweiser distributor in my area needed to get rid of some almost outdated stuff.
I couldn't turn down the price.

6 bucks a case, so I bought 5.
The wife and I attempted to put a dent in it last night..

4 1/2 cases to go.

Maybe we will play quarters this evening.
But for now, it's all coffee generated hyperactive early morning bliss!

I buy one 12 pack of Michelob Ultra a month, and when thats gone, thats it for the month. I usually save it for the weekends tho

I actually have a hard time with beer. If I was to have my drink of choice it would be a bottle of Jack Daniels, but I am not much of a drinker anymore. If these cases of beer were just for me, they would probably last 5 months at least. Well, probably not, I would throw a party and they would be gone in a day...lol

I love beer,I have it usually every Friday and Saturday.

I don't like hard liquor, it gives me a headache, and I only have wine with bread, grapes, and cheese when friends come over.


You and your wife should play the 'Ancient Aliens' drinking game. Every time one of them on that show says
" Therefor it must have been aliens...." you drink.


I play it with my brother, and we have a great time.

Your cat looks very similar to my 20 lb. tom cat I lost in '09. He was 16.5 yrs. old. My baby. I miss him terribly.
