Thank you Rod for taking the time for such a detailed response !

Will take your advice.

Cheers mate, hope all is well in your world ...

My pleasure Timely.

However, I am crap...

I forgot something : Observe his paws and also in-between his paws to see if he does not have a cut or a thorn stuck anywhere. If this is the case then add 20mls of Vetadine or Iodine solution to 100mls of lukewarm water and bath the affected foot in it twice a day for 7 days (change the solution each day) : This will disinfect the lesion and/or draw out the thorn.

This also goes for any small cut or infected wound anywhere else on the body apart from around the region of the eyes as the solution burns mucous membranes.

Kindest respects

Rodinus

Rod jnr on the laptop mate ? Mine are going through exams as well. My daughter is taking the equivalent of 16 O' levels, and just for fun the IDF threw in a day of tests (9 hours solid) right in the middle of it all.

I'll treat her big time when she and Cody jnr come over

Cody

Give em a good luck hug from me Bro...

IF they succeed then they get a free trip to France... Board and lodgings... apart from the plane fare that is...

Rod Jrs exams are not until next year but he is on the laptop... Something to do with a young lady and Skype...

Kindest respects

Thanks again mate !

He is eating well and drinking, and bowel / small intestine movements are ok.

Has shown remarkable improvement over a short period.

Hips he is non-plussed about. ( not showing much discomfort actually )

It seems to be between elbow and fetlock .

Walks on it - just can't scratch his earhole !

Could it be a tendon ?

I'll get him off to the vet anyways ...

Thank you again Rod.
Appreciate your time and expertise !!

Oh wait ! My cat - not Cody !

I knew that ...

I would need to see the said cat to check if it is a tendon problem Timely as he would need to be "felt"... so to speak

As long as he is not trailing his leg behind him and squawking his head off things should settle up over a period of time... Strong animals cats...

Put a massive smile on my face

You must be over the moon.

I'm just having fun with my son, we're trying to hack each others FB accounts and embarrass the hell out of each other, I think I'm on a loser here, his password is in Hebrew and he's 16 and tech savvy and I'm 47 a tech idiot and I can't find my old keyboard with Hebrew on it LOL

Is hebrew written boustrophedon?

I've been dying to use that word in a sentence for a week now.

I heard the professor use it on Gilligans island.

What happened to my life? Perhaps it waits for me, "Over the moon "?

Time for wine.

I had to look that up LOL

No it isn't, Hebrew is read right to left and down the page. Below is a Hebrew copy of the cover of Goodnight moon.

The first book I read in Hebrew, I very much learned the language with and from my kids.

In Hebrew it reads Lilah tov Erayach the ch is a sort of HHHHHHHHHHHHHH from that back of the throat the French can't make the sound, a French man speaking Hebrew is hilarious, but go to a Chinese restaurant at your own peril, I had to leave with tears streaming down my face the first time, my stomach was sore from laughing for the whole of the next day.

I had a friend in the Army who spoke fluent German, but had a very heavy southern drawl as well. It was hilarious listening to him talk. But boy did the Germans love him.

I don't think he ever bought a drink during the three years he was stationed there. Even married a German lass.

To borrow a phrase from Charlie Sheen; That dude was WINNING!
