Mystery of stone circle
A man who claims to be able to sense energy fields believes a stone circle and mound close to Preston city centre could be of major historical
significance. "I'm a clairsentient person which means I'm able to perceive energy fields through physical sensations and when I found the stone
circle, which I did not know was there, I realised why the feelings were so intense.
UFO Festival Looks into
the World of Aliens
Marius Dekker doesn't want to talk about his experience being abducted by aliens -- even though he is giving a speech about the subject this weekend.
This will be Dekker's first time attending the UFO Festival in McMinnville. He refused to give any details on what he will talk about for his speech,
other than to say he will chronicle the "long story" about why he believes he was abducted. He would say, however, that "missing time" is one of
the main elements that abductees find they have in common. "It's the most telling sign," he said. "People wondering, 'Where have I been in the
last three hours?'"
Flores hobbit was sick human:
scientists
Scientists who argue the "hobbit" is really just a modern human with a small brain have published evidence for the first time in a major scientific
journal. Today's issue of the journal Science carries a paper led by primate evolution expert, Dr Bob Martin of the Field Museum in Chicago. It says
Homo floresiensis is likely to have been a modern human, who suffered from microcephaly - a condition that causes a small brain.
Pentagon hit by flying grilled cheese sandwich, video frames
show
The Pentagon wasn't hit by a Boeing 757 jetliner. It was hit by a flying grilled cheese sandwich. How do I know? I clearly saw it in the video frames
released by the FBI, there on the right. Not everybody sees the grilled cheese sandwich, I admit. Some people see a Boeing 757 jet out of the same
blur that I'm pretty sure is a grilled cheese sandwich.
Piano found on Britain's highest
mountain
A musical mystery today surrounded Britain's highest mountain after a piano was discovered near its summit. Volunteers clearing stones from the
4,418ft peak were astonished when they discovered the musical instrument on Ben Nevis. An appeal has now been launched to find out how and why the
piano came to be within 200 metres of the top of the mountain.
Skinwalker Ranch Encounter
A few of us had a rather strange encounter at the famous Skinwalker ranch in Utah on October 29th and 30th 2005. Each of us suffered somatic illness
after the event, complete with nosebleeds, migraines, labiality of mood, fatigue, emotional instability, etc for several months afterward. We believe
that we were party to some kind of traumatic encounter with something non- human. Each of us feels that something, perhaps biological, was left within
us.
More meteorite showers to
come
AUSTRALIANS will have another opportunity to see meteorites and fragments of a comet blazing across the sky this weekend. Glowing fragments from a
dying comet passing Earth will be at their most visible for Australian stargazers this weekend, experts say. The comet, known as Schwassmann-Wachmann
3 or Comet 73P, will be visible across Australia above the northern horizon in the hours before sunrise over the next few days.
Polk testimony covers her marriage,
premonitions
And then the defendant, who claimed in her opening statement to be psychic, told the jury she predicted the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, thwarted
a papal assassination and heard her husband, whom she has claimed was an Israeli intelligence agent, discuss the death of San Francisco Mayor George
Moscone weeks before his assassination in 1978. She also described having a vision of former Secretary of State Colin Powell "as the anti-Christ
marching off to Armageddon."
