I Once Dreamed of Liberty.
The fog of years mask the dreams of youth. Here, in a future once unimagined, the thoughts of long ago are but echoes as we meander through the days of our journey. But some dreams resonate with clarity through these days. Some events remind us of our youthful wishes. And these days, we weep for the dreams once dreamed.

Moderator Musings: The ol' place ain't what it used to be.
Before finding ATS I enjoyed (and still do) roaming about old bookshops like on a treasure hunt, the occasional exquisite little gem making returning empty-handed the majority of the time worthwhile. Here at ATS though I found thread after thread of people offering new, interesting and current information for consumption along with their own opinions. To me that was great, no longer was I stuck with books which although very interesting only ever offered a one way flow or opinion and/or information. No longer was my broaching of the subjects that interested me so only met with stifling yawns by the majority, quite the opposite; there were more conversations on more topics here than I could take in. It was fantastic and I immersed myself. I love the way conversation can flow; there was one particular friend that I lived with for a while with whom I could and did regularly chat with over these subjects. Often after chatting all through the night we would find ourselves retiring to bed at obscene hours after the conversation strayed from Cryptozoology to UFO's to time travel with the paradoxes it could pose and here on ATS I found something similar. One thread would lead me to migrate to another and so on. It was exhilarating.

U.S.O.'s
An Unidentified Submerged Object (USO), can be described as any object observed that is located in the water, which is of unknown origin and cannot be identified. It is common for USOs to be completely unkown even after being thoroughly investigated. USOs can be comically viewed as the underwater counterpart to a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object).

News of the Weird
A man who claims to be able to sense energy fields believes a stone circle and mound close to Preston city centre could be of major historical significance. "I'm a clairsentient person which means I'm able to perceive energy fields through physical sensations and when I found the stone circle, which I did not know was there, I realised why the feelings were so intense.
